Publisher's summary
Logan Andrews grew up with a player for a father and no mother by the age of 11. Learning everything from his father, he saw women as pawns in the sex games he played. He quickly learned after becoming financially successful that sex games were not going to be satisfying. He used women to fill the gap he had when he lost the only woman that meant anything to him.
If he wanted to be happy with his life, he needed to learn how to love again. When he meets Gia Osborn, those feelings start to interrupt his life in a way he can’t control. The problem is with the friends he has surrounded himself with, he was going to run into more trouble than he was expecting.
Gia Osborn was always the submissive one but was forced to play a more forceful role in her life. She needed to be demanding if she was going to make it on her own. A messy divorce sent her parents in opposite directions, leaving her alone to fend for herself.
She grew up quickly from the age of 16 and taught herself how to be successful. She didn’t need anyone in her life. When Logan Andrews shows up, despite the warnings from those around her, she is immediately drawn to him, and she lets her guard down.
Is this a mistake? Will she just be another pawn in Logan’s games, or will they show each other how to love without remorse?

Story
Obituary writer Nadine Barbault doesn’t mind being called “Lady Death”. It suits the ice queen persona she’s cultivated to survive the fast-paced Toronto Herald. So when Nadine learns that famous (and reclusive) author Dot Voline has died, she doesn’t hesitate to run the obituary…only to discover that Dot is very much alive. Nadine’s screw-up has brought Wesley Chen of the rival Spear no end of joy—she’s been a thorn in his extremely ambitious side for years. But the renewed interest in Dot also surfaced chatter about a mysterious past scandal.

Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel - The Vipers. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses. Yes, sold me. They own me now. I’m theirs in every sense of the word. But I’ve never been meek and compliant.

Not a Good Game
Logan and Gia are attracted to each other but his friends come between them. Logan is a man child that is ready to grow up but not let go of the immature people around him. Can a relationship survive the stupidity of all this.

Good story
When someone is ready to make changes in his/her life to better him/her self you cheer for them When "friends" do anything to ruin it for the person you want to strangle them.
Good story about how the characters overcome the hurdles in life to find happiness.
the characters are well written and the narrator is good. (even if I prefer female voice for female characters)

Great steamy story
Great romance that has a good story line and just enough lusty scenes. Good read!
