About this listen

Here is a perfect follow-up to the Rosbergs' popular The Five Love Needs of Men & Women. They provide a straightforward and candid look at the different sex needs that both men and women bring to marriage. The Rosbergs both educate and challenge married couples to develop a godly view of sexual intimacy.

This audiobook does not cover sexual techniques; instead, it focuses on the emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of sex within marriage. It will open lines of communication, so that a couple can openly discuss their needs and experience sexual intimacy according to God's design.

Great book

I was worried this was going to be a "prudish" Christian view point on sex within the marriage but it was actually very candid and honest yet not trashy. There were some very good insights that I hadn't heard before and it helped me to better understand not just how to be a better lover for my husband but it helped me to better understand myself. I highly recommend it.

WAY TO LONG!!!

This was thee longest 6 hours of my life!!! I can more or less sum up the first 4 hours of this book...it was them berating you as a female about how men NEED sex which I do believe and how it is the wives God given duty to give it to him, which I believe as well but not the way they where presenting it! It would have been almost funny if it had not been oh so very boring. I have no idea why I kept lessoning I really don't but I did lesson to the whole thing and finally the last 2 hours I finally got some interesting thoughts out of them. Things to think about, ponder at lest something to take away for all my time. Whether or not this book will be worth YOUR money you will have to decide I feel it was barley worth mine.

Harmful content

I wanted to like this book but I couldn't finish it because it is so toxic. It is heavy on the evangelical obligation sex message. At one point it says you will stand before God giving account for your sex life with your spouse, which is a manipulative way to address lack of frequency through guilt and shame. The authors also put responsibility on women whose husbands cheat or use porn. They also cite other evangelical sex books proven to be harmful to women in their messaging. Though this book was written before that research came out, I expected more from licensed counselors. If you want a good book on this topic I recommend The Great Sex Rescue and The Good Girls Guide to Great Sex. Both by Sheila Gregoire. There's also The Good Guys Guide to Great Sex by Sheila and her husband.
