About this listen

Monsters—humans with weapons and lies. They tricked me, they've captured me, and they hurt my men. Ben was after me from the start, this entire trip was a farce. He’d been hiding, wanting, and waiting for the day he could use me for his twisted rituals, making monsters of men.

Traveling the country camping was supposed to be an escape from the strange and unusual that clings to my family. Instead it’s brought me more than I ever bargained for. My family’s calling to fame—the ghosts, the hauntings, the supernatural—it's time I wield it.

But we’re caged and broken.

A rock star with dark secrets. A West Virginia local legend—a monster myth of cryptid fame. An abhorrence that possesses me, amorphous tentacles and all. A broken man made to be a monster that everyone fears—a beast made of greed, so hungry he can’t control himself.

We’ll have to work together, we’ll have to save each other, and we’ll have to paint the mountain red before we can finally be done.

Weird and Wonderful

5/5 ⭐

3/5 🎧

Good gods, what a journey that was. I absolutely loved this installment of Myths and Monsters and was so not ready for it to end. I really loved how the Ben plot wrapped up and watching these characters grow together. So much monster goodness wrapped up in just a few hours.

While I loved listening to this story, I felt this audiobook was a little lacking. It was a bit confusing having 4 MMCs and 2 male narrators and I found it really hard to keep track of who was who given I was basically dealing for 8 different voices not counting Mothman's and Makwa's alternate scary voices. I also felt like Caspian's Spanish accent got less and less, however I could have just gotten used to it. I think it'll make for a great re-listen, but I would have preferred I read this one on my kindle.

The spice in this one was ramped up to level 99 and probably deserved 6 chilis. It was so good and there was no shortage of it. We definitely went a little more spice heavy in this one, but the plot was still strong where we needed it to be and so I was one hundred percent okay with this delicious development. I loved watching the guys explore each other intimately, especially when that delved into feelings of love.

This one ended up being such a squishy happy ending. I just love how these five ended up and honestly how cute and sweet they were. I am not quite ready to let them all go, so I'm really excited there's a novella waiting for me!

Seek &Find

This is the third book in the Myths & Monsters series. Ava is the FMC and she is part of a special family. All of her family members can interact with spirits and the supernatural in some way. This book picks up where the second book left off. Ben had captured them. Something has happened to Brandon and Ava is still hosting Makwa. I was surprised how the relationships between Ava, Makwa, Caspian, Mothman, and Brandon ended up. Michelle Price, Gregory Salinas, and Jay Alder did an amazing job narrating this series.

Bravo

I can't believe there aren't more reviews for these books on audible. These narrators were fantastic! And so was the story!

I am SOOOO brokenhearted. I need more of these books! I need more Mothman! And Matgwa ( I listened to the audiobook so I really have no idea how to spell his name, but regardless, I love him and his evil ghostly monster ways. I have heard that the author is making a novella to I guess to tie up the story a little more. I think the ending was great, except for the fact that there was an ending.
I never imagined myself enjoying these books as much as I did. I'm not even someone who enjoys books with a ton of sex scenes in them. I don't mind them and some of them are great. But I tend to speed up those parts so I can get through it and the book faster but not miss anything important. These sex scenes were definitely different and original in this series. Most definitely more than vanilla but nothing too crazy or rapey or anything like that. Oh, I am so proud of Caspian. He really changed a lot throughout the book. Probably more than any other character in the trilogy. Do what makes you happy bro. Personally, I look at the person, not the sex. It jus so happens, the only people I gravitate towards are men, and they gravitate to me. But I now tell my husband if we get divorced, I am totally trying a polyamorous relationship at least once. Its got to be crazy then multiply it by 10000 and you get what all the craziness that Ava gets dealing with all her monsters. Although, its doesn't seem that much of a hardship for her anymore. lol I'll stop babbling.
I loved the book. The audiobook made it 100xs better, especially with there being 3 narrators who all knew what they were doing and we're more actors than someone who just reads a book. All 3 did an amazing job. I will probably try and ready every paranormal/ fantasy book/ series that this author puts on audible if they continue to be this good!
Thanx #TheFlock- you guys rock!

I loved this series😍

Ava has grown so much over this series and every character brings so much depth and detail to the story. The narration is beyond top tier. I mean it's just "chef's kiss" Each male interest has something different to love about them. I was surprised at the direction of the book because I can normally see how it's going and that was excellent! I can't wait to reread/relisten to this series. Truly worth the credits or buying. Amazing 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all around. 5 Spicy peppers 🌶 🌶🌶🌶🌶 too!

Seek & Find

Seek & Find is the third book in the Myths & Monsters series. This book is about Ava, Mothman, Caspian, and Makwa. As well as points of view from Brandon.

This book was a crazy ride. The series started off with Ava and Caspian going camping to get a break from reality. Ava's family was hunting Mothman. However some things happen, and Ava ends up finding Mothman, as well as another fun monster named Makwa.

Ava and her band of men are in trouble. They are being held captive. Can they get out of their capture hold before it's too late? Can they save all those that are being hunted? Can Ava and her men get their happy endings?

I really enjoyed this series, even though it's not something I would usually listen to. The monsters, the banter, the humor, all of it was amazing!

Awesome!

Woohoo !there was tons of steam in the last book and actually hearing it with the narrators was everything I could hope for. The narrators did a phenomenal job with the characters bringing them life. The storyline was perfect Im kind of sad that the story won’t continue. This trilogy is so worth reading and listening to.

Loved this series!

Book 3 picks up where Book 2 left off and ends on a HEA. In this installment we learn more about Ava's "guest", mothman's past and Brandon's change. I really enjoyed this book as much as the others, it was a wild ride! All the MM hinting in book 2 came to a head at the end of book 3, so if MM isn't your thing, just fast forward a few minutes. Don't quit the story is more than MM scenes.

Continuing to love this series!

This series has continued to hold my interest, and I am even more of a Beatrix Hollow fan now!

The narrators all continue to do an amazing job with the voices, consistent sound, and no background noises. I truly have every intention of looking them up and listening to other audiobooks from all of them.

A new conflict has arisen for book 3, and like I stated above, it grabbed my attention and held it. The level of detail remains good as well as world and charcter building. I own a signed copy of the omnibus paperback if that tells you how much I enjoyed it.

There are explicit scenes and multiple partners. Overall, I think I would rate this a 4/5 on the pepper scale.

Interesting characters

I have enjoyed this story. Some of the characters are definitely different from others in similar genres. I like the willingness to stray from the normal. The narrators do a great job telling the story. Nicely done.

Steamy!

This is the third book in the Myths & Monsters series, a Monster Reverse Harem romance. This series is original and intriguing. The story continues where the second book left off. This is an explosive and steamy conclusion to this original series. The audio production is excellent. Michelle Price, Gregory Salinas, and Jay Alder did an outstanding job bringing this story to life. #StoryOrigin #PFPAudio
