About this listen

Prince Théoden is now finally able to preside over his city now that King Ara's decree as been fulfilled. However, things may not run as smoothly has he'd like, considering Deacon has other plans for him and his vampires. The wolf Alpha desires more territory, and he's willing to manipulate and kill anyone to get what he wants. Noel, has his plate full becoming a Father to a willful son, as well as his training with Marco to be a General. Not to mention being used in negotiations by his Father, the Prince. There's never a dull moment in New Haven.

Highly erotic and extremely dark and twisted. Prepare yourself.

Warning: This book contains strong adult content not meant for sensitive eyes. This book is filled with dark, twisted, raunchy and steamy scenes between powerful, sexy men that will either offend you or get ya revved up. This series will not be pulling any punches, and it won't apologize for hurting your feelings, either. You'll find no fluff and ruffles here. The vampires are not misunderstood, hopeless romantics looking for love. The werewolves are not cute and cuddly and the dragons aren't the ones from your childhood. This is NOT a romance.

Pure, disgusting, garbage filth. Guilty pleasure.

This book is garbage and I'm ashamed that I read it and liked it.

This is one of those naughty books that I will never admit to in person that I enjoyed or even know anything about.

Its pure filth scene after filth scene. Right when you think it couldn't get filthier it ups the heat to painful and delivers even more, sometimes gross or horrific, filth.

This is a good filth book if this is what you're looking for. It's well written so every scene is very easy to get into.

There's an overarching story going in but honestly this plot is more just an excuse to move around characters to get to the next filth scene. It's sometimes so overwhelmed with some intense scenes that the plot is oh most completely forgotten.

I do not recommend this if you don't have a strong stomach or at all really. This is garbage but for me, I am garbage and I have to feed my garbage self with this when I'm in the mood for it.

Love the Series

I've read the series many times and listened to the past Audiobooks and loving them.

When I saw the new Audiobook, I bought it without question... I was a bit disappointed.

How can one be expected to fall for the silky deep tones and timbers of the other narrator and now listen to high pitched, nasally, winey and offputting voice that reads too fast to even get into a scene.

Theoden deserved better... Everyone deserved better.

Struggled to get into it, and definitely was not drip worthy, like I definitely did with the other narrator.

This in no way takes away from me loving the authors words and reading and rereading this series on my kindle. Just disappointed that I can't keep hearing this installment.

I however would never return an audiobook as I respect all the hard work and the authors art to much to do so.

I just hope that going forward with the series in audio, we can thoroughly enjoy it as much as the incomparable written words we've come to love by this incredibly talented author.
And I WILL continue to 1-Click every time.

Prince of the City

Nicholas Bella's New Haven series continues to grow and draws you into a world were humans are the bottom of the food chain. Vampires, Dragons and Werewolves rule the world. This series is so hot, intriguing, full of twists and turns with schemes that will surprise and shock. Maxx Power narrating is okay. Some of the accents seemed off. Looking forward to the next installment. ⚘⚘⚘

Season three

My only complaint is that I hated the narration. Sorry, I really really didn’t like it. When I saw this out, I quickly bought it and was so disappointed when it wasn’t the same narrated as the last ones. (I didn’t not like the narrator JUST because he was t the previous one. I understand things happen and can’t always have the same narrator. It’s just that the narrator for this season didn’t do it for me in any way). It took me about a month to give it another try and listen to it. After a few tries and listening for some time I was able to get past the narration and enjoy the story.
I really love this series and how we get so many different pint of views to keep it interesting. Noel is settling in really well and now it’s Dante’s time to be broken in. We also get to see what Deacon is up to with his new mate Eli. Can’t wait to see what next.

Series GREAT...Narrator not so much...

Struggled to finish due to the narrator. Sounds like the characters from a children story. I'm so disappointed. This was done in another series as well. This particular narrator takes away the sexy masculinity projected in the other books. It's hard to see 6ft plus, hulking and menacing with this particular narrator. Please don't do this to us again. Overall I love this series.

Narrator

I love all of Nicholas Bella’s books. This narrator doesn’t read them as well as the previous narrator.

Great book! Narrator is not so great at all. 😕

Another great book from the series. I loved every other book I've read and heard. The only thing wrong was the narrator. The other books in this series had a different narrator and I didn't even think to check this one. To bad I can't return it , it's that bad. I'll be do disappointed if I can't listen to one of my favorite authors books because of the crappy voices. This guy was awful. The so called accents were a joke. The love scenes were so gross listening to this person. Never again. 😕

HOT HOT HOT

3.5 to 4 Blue Roses
5 Blue Flames

Narrator Maxx Powers’ deep, sexy voice lends itself perfectly to this dark and sickly twisted paranormal erotic audiobook. I cumbersomely started the audiobook with apprehension, due to the change in narrators. It did take some time getting used to, especially the new King Ara and Theoden voices, but after a few chapters, as the narrator slipped into a more comfortable reading, so did I.

My expectation of a novel filled with suspense and intrigue was not quite fulfilled, however. Dramatic hardcore sexual scenes perhaps replaced the building tension of conflict and war between vampires and the rest of the supernatural world. For example, the werewolves led by Deacon, and other unseen enemies of King Ara over in Europe, even the allies such as the Dragons would have helped the story live up to its captivating synopsis.

I never complain about too much sex, but I would have liked a little more information on all the other parties involved. The character building and world development are on the skimpy side, and I hope to hear more in the next installment to keep my interest peaked.

I do recommend this audiobook. It is unique in the hardcore vampire initiation department. Sex and blood are their food, and we do get our fill of it as well.

Happy Listening
