I enjoyed this emotionally moving story about Cassie and Dane. Cassie has not had an easy time of it and is still struggling with the fallout from a bad marriage, an overbearing, bullying jerk of an ex and all the emotional baggage it has left her with. Dane is a totally swoon worthy, dominate, protective hottie and one of the genuine good guys. He is attracted to Cassie but it will take a lot of work to get her to take another chance on love. This is a well written book that has an engaging plot that offers lots of heat, heart, drama and sweetness that is topped with splashes of humor and bits of cuteness. Only single narration (male) on this book but I thought that Mr. Ross did an excellent job pulling you into the story and letting you connect with the characters.

Lee has written a great story! A touch of BDSM that was just right! Wen Ross is a super fun narrator. He can keep your mind exactly on the right path and his voice will give you shivers.

“Oh my f*cking word! I can’t even…“ I exclaimed as the book came to an end. Excellent work! There was so much subject matter contained within this seemingly simple plot and it was all handled so well. Thoroughly enjoyable and completely satisfying, my favorite Lee Savino to date.
The cherry on top was Wen Ross narrating. That man is brilliant! His sexy voice as the sexy hero… Yep, I melted. ‘Nough said.💖💖🔥💖💖

I want to give this story all the stars for the narrator alone. Loved that voice.

The spice was just right. I was pleasantly surprised by the novelty.

Cassie’s snark was a bit distracting at times. However, I gave her a pass because l understood her pain and insecurities. She was a lucky girl to get such a strong man to lean on. Men like Dane only exist in our imaginations. So, thank you Lee Savino for the wonderful fantasy. Dane was perfectly sigh-worthy.

It was a little strange to listen to an audio that was all in a female POV, but narrated by a male. Don't get me wrong, Wen Ross is amazing, but it was just an interesting casting decision. I loved the story and I really liked the characters that were built by Lee Savino in this one. The performance was spectacular as always!
