Any additional comments?

After our introduction to Maddie and Sam in the first book of the series, I was hoping for more intense heat and flames regarding Sam and Maddie's reunion. The story and narration was great, just not as intense as I had hoped. I'm glad I read it and will most likely buy the next book in the series if there is one.

Sam is not the type of guy to take no for an answer. He wants Maddie and will do anything to get back in her good graces after being caught with another woman years ago. After realizing Sam had a good reason for breaking her heart, Maddie feel into his arms again. I think Maddie should have made him work harder but once you find that one love, everything else is forgotten. Sam is heavy handed in his marriage demand and after realizing his mistake, he finally comes correct with Maddie and makes me fall in love with his character. A perfect continuation to the Billionaire series.

I really enjoyed Sam’s story we got a better understanding of how he became the way he is and the struggles he overcame. Madeline is a doctor that runs her own free clinic but also works at the hospital she works all the time and is basically burning the candle at both ends. However she loves what she does and the care and help she provides so she doesn’t want to stop or slow down. That’s not an option once her path crosses with Sam he was the love of her life once upon a time now he’s just a arrogant rich man that she wants nothing to do with but Sam wants something he’ll stop at nothing not to get what he desires. Overall it’s a complete story that keeps the reader engaged and enjoying the tale that is told.

The narrator was good for this particular story.

Heart of the Billionaire (The Billionaire's Obssession: Sam) was another great read by J.S. Scott. Sam has always lived his life with no apologies, that is except for the day that he hurt Maddie. A chance encounter because of his brother, Simon, who brings Sam and Maddie together. Simon is marrying Maddie's best friend Kara and they are brought together for the wedding. I loved reading Sam and Maddie's story. Elizaeth Powers did a great job of narrating the characters so that you fall in love with them. I can't wait to read more of this great series by J.S. Scott.

Sam and Maddie should have been together always but life isn’t always that neat or perceptive. They met in college when neither of them have much to offer each other, other than themselves. Their attraction blossoms and they find themselves in true coupledom. In a blink of an eye, Sam shatters Maddie’s heart because Sam’s pass has come to haunt him.

Sam gets a second chance with Maddie thanks to Sam’s brother Simon finding his love, Kara, who happens to volunteer at Maddie’s clinic. What Sam was unprepared for what Maddie’s open hostility and animosity whenever he around. Sam was taken by surprise at his own attraction to Maddie. Sam realizes he’s never gotten over her all these years and she’s always been in his subconscious. Sam is determined to win her over and never let her go again.

Maddie has resigned herself to being alone and focusing on her life’s work of helping those in need. She was shocked to see Sam Hudson back in her life. To Maddie, it was temporary, get through Simon and Kara’s wedding. After that, she won’t have to see him anymore. Sam broke her once and she’s not the naïve girl she was once, now she’s a doctor for Pete’s sake and Sam Hudson won’t get a second chance.

Overall, the voice talent was good as well as the pace.

After having read Simon and Kara's story I had to go straight on to read the older brother Sam's story and his history with Maddie.
They had been childhood friends and then sweethearts until Sam betrayed her in the worst way possible. Years later they meet up again due to her best friend being involved with Simon Sam's younger brother.
It was obvious they both still had feelings for one another. As with Simon and Kara's story, I loved this. Sam might appear to be an arrogant man whore due to the press portraying him that way but don't judge a book by the cover. I wasn't a fan of him in Simon and Kara's story but he won me over in this and I am a sucker for a wealthy man who is troubled.
Thoroughly enjoyed this and all that happened in it. Now I'm onto Max's story, Can't Wait to see what happened to him and see if someone special can heal his broken heart.

Just keeps getting better and better
