About this listen

Stone Reeves was my neighbor, and I've hated him since sixth grade.

Gorgeous and charismatic, he became the town's football god, while I became the town's invisible girl.

He went to a Division 1 school for football, while my father was fired by his father.

His team won the National Championship, while my mother died the same day.

He was a first round pick for the NFL...

...while I made the worst decision of my life.

Now I'm in Texas trying to pick up the pieces of my life.

But, Stone is here.

Stone is everywhere.

It doesn't matter that disaster has struck my life again.

It doesn't matter that he's the one trying to console me.

It doesn't matter that he's the nation's newest football obsession.

Because for me, he always has been and always will be my enemy.

good, but lies.

The book itself was good. But I chose this book for Jason Clarke's narration. He literally read one chapter of the entire book.... cheaper 41. I was sorely disappointed.

Another Great Story by Tijan!

This book is another great story by the amazing author Tijan! She has such an incredible mind for stories and this book didn't disappoint. I fell in love with the lead characters as well as the supporting characters. The storyline is great and has an awesome Football star as the lead alfa male. He's sexy, dominant and hot and the lead female is equally sexy, beautiful, intelligent with a troubled past but is fierce and owns her situation pushes through everything that's thrown her way with the help of the male lead. The book is a feel good story with bumps along the way and great sex scenes in between. The narrators definitely help make the story come alive and I highly recommend listening to this book!

Another TOPNOTCH Listen from Tijan

Tijan does it yet again with another TOPNOTCH book and first class narrators.
I fell in love with these two AMAZING characters. This is a completely different kind of enemies to lovers story with a few unexpected twists at the end.
Another must read from Tijan

Enemies

This was very well written. There was a lot of story and a lot to discover. It definitely is enough to keep you entertained continuously through the entire book. There were twists and turns, things to discover

Classic angsty Tijan!

I'm still on a fall-inspired reading binge, so a football romance definitely belonged on my TBR. Not to mention that I spent a small fortune on audiobooks during the Audible sale (this book was one of them!) and need to focus on reading the books I spent my hard-earned money on.

What I loved:
1. I'm a freaking sucker for enemies-to-lovers romance. And this book was definitely that. Even when the intimate part of their relationship started it was just that: sex. No love. At least, the female main character made it seem that way.
2. This book had a lot of the elements that I've come to expect from Tijan: quiet/alpha male, resilient yet vulnerable lead female character, and all the angst
3. We get TWO epilogues. *swoon*

If you read and loved Carter Reed, Dusty and Stone remind me A LOT of Carter and Emma---but a new adult/sports romance version of them, lol. Give it a go!

Missing Jason Clarke!

A little disappointed. I thought with #JasonClarke the book would be great. However, NOT true because he only had a few chapters. The whole book was mostly Dusty. I would have liked more of Stone's thoughts.

Emotional Rollercoaster

Tijan takes on an emotional Rollercoaster ride as we listen to the ups and downs in the lives of Dusty and Stone! The narration by Jason Clarke and Savannah Peachwood were spot on, flowing with emotion and angst in appropriate spots. I would definitely recommend this audiobook.

Family

Friendships are made and hearts are broken in this rollercoaster story. You’ll laugh and cry and need a cold drink from the heat. The narrators bring the story to life even more.

The Female Lead was a HARD pill to swallo

Savannah’s narration was great!! There was practically nothing from Jason, I was looking forward to listening to his voice. With that being said…
Dusty was not the best female lead. She was a mess!! I got that she got a concussion but she was beyond childish. She acted like a child, constant whining, crying, irrational decisions and actions. She actions were contradictory.
