I have enjoyed the intense romantic and dominant mountain men in this author’s books. I live vicariously through the characters in the books. I wish these men existed but alas they don’t.

Brothers in Montana have a family legacy of knowing the moment they meet ‘the one’ and have instant connection and love.
Lulu moved from Chicago with her baby and met Pen who actively pursued Lulu. Kiki’s backstory is revealed after we’re well into the story and is a great twist. Pen as a strong Aloha dirty talker who does ever he can to care for Lulu and her baby
Lots of hot scenes and fun secondary characters who bring interest and fun
I have 2 of the previous books in the series and enjoy each one
Great narration. Looking forward for more of the books come to audio.

This is book 4 in Weir's Montana Mountain Men and wow! Was this a sweet and steamy read. I'll be honest, I've been able to listen to some others (but not all) in this series and I do think this can be read as a standalone. We have our main characters Penn and Lulu. Penn is one of several brothers who find their forever loves instantly and it's just a matter of time before they all fall...Penn's been waiting but enjoying himself in the meantime when his woman literally bumps into him, and his heart and mind are gone. Penn won't take no for an answer, and I love his persistence and alpha domineering ways. I will admit that I probably wouldn't love it so much in real life but in this fantasy land of romance reads it's hot! Lulu's life is anything but smooth at the moment and she's not looking for love but can't seem to deny Penn even though she tries. A wonderfully well written romance that is captivating from the start. Great ups and downs that keep you glued to the book. Dual narration by York and Johnson delight as these characters are brought to life - Lulu is sweet but protective and determined when needs to be and Penn is so sweet but when his vocals go all raspy with heat it's swoon worthy. Overall, a wonderful book, love the contemporary feel and the love of family weather blood or choice. I can't wait for more!

When Penn saw Lulu he knew she was the one. Nothing will stop him from claiming her.
His possessiveness is overwhelming to her.She sees how much he cares for her and her baby.
Hot and sexy . I am enjoying this series.
Maeve York and Michael Norman Johnson are great performers and bring this story to life

I love this series! I’ve re-read it and listened to it several times. This is probably my favorite voice performance. I need the rest of the series on audible. Pleeeease!

This series is one of my favorite go to when I need an alpha fix. When these brothers fall they fall hard and will do whatever it takes to get their girl. The hero does bulldoze the heroine but he also is sweet for her. I love how he was all in for the daughter too. There is mild OW drama. While this is a standalone and can be read as such the couples from previous books do make and appearance. If you need an escape from real life and like hero’s who will do whatever it takes to get the girl I definitely recommend this book!

I LOVE that we have a curvy girl in the mix. Makes it a little more relatable for me. This is such a touching and loving story, and the details are so great, like always! I don’t want to say anymore so as not to give anything away. I think this one is awesome.
