So good

The story was awesome but Blake Lockhart and Heather Firth reading it brought it to life. It had all the feels and when I thought I knew what was going on there was another twist. Loved it.

She deals with a lot of guilt and regret about his death and doesn't really let anyone get close to her. One night out with Becca and she no only finds a best friend but her she finds out that the things she has been reading in her erotic romances actually really do happen in real life and she can experience them while no one has to know who she really is.
Preston is a man dealing with a lot of grief as his wife also died tragically and the man has built walls around his that no one is ever going to be able to climb over or break down. But when he meets Becca she is the only woman who has ever been able to even get a peek over the walls. When Becca introduces him to Kamii then he begins to feel things that he thought he would never feel again in his life. However what they are beginning to discover with each other is being threatened by someone they aren't sure they know exactly who they are. Kammi and Preston have some absolutely amazing chemistry and it isn't hard at all to fall for them. I really loved listening to this book and it really has some twists in it that keep you firmly planted on the edge of your seat.

I listened to the audiobook which was very well narrated and very sexy.

The story of Preston and Kamii was steamy and sexy beyond words. The romance between them real and heartfelt. Both are suffering broken hearts after losing their respective loved ones. Kamii copes by working tirelessly at her job as a lawyer and escaping into her love of books. Preston runs his own construction company and is also the owner of a private sex club.

When they meet at his sex club neither of them is looking for any type of relationship. The Sex Club is a means for sexual relief and kink and the best part is nobody knows who anyone is because the club requires fake names and masks.

When Kamii and Preston share an evening of sexy kink the chemistry between them awakens desires they did not expect to feel and want more of and boundaries are crossed.

I enjoyed the added suspense of the murder mystery and the twist that I did not see coming. This was an excellent, well written book.

Erotic book lovers will want to read this highly charged sensual read.

Black Widow by Lauren Runow, narrated by Blake Lockheart and Heather Finn is the first book in the Club Bridge Series.
Kamii and Preston are suffered losses in the past, and they're still mourning loved ones. But life goes on and both attend a club, love the anonymity there.
BW is a scorching , nsfw, gives all the feels story that's beautifully narrated , excellent written, beautifully told, 5 stars.

Engrossing storyline...

Kamii and Preston each know heartbreak, having lived through it. They have each lost a spouse through tragedy. Kamii has become a bit of a recluse, existing for long hours at work and reading during her stationery bike workouts without getting to know many friends. Preston has recently opened a secretive sex club, called Bridge, and has made it anonymous to be there, as everyone wears a mask and no one uses their real name. Kamii and Preston share a mutual friend, Becca, who introduces Kamii to Preston’s club. He is taken with her from the start, and they spend quite a bit of time together.

This story was engrossing from the start. It starts off with an unexpected occurrence, and events ramp up from there. There are multiple twists and turns and missteps. Nevertheless, there are a couple of murders, a bit of a mystery, and multiple suspects for readers to choose from. The subject matter is for mature readers only, and it is an erotic story, so don’t choose this book or audiobook if that offends you. Regardless, there is quite a bit of storyline to pull listeners in, and some listeners may figure out the culprit earlier than others. The tension is tight, and the pace is fast. The audiobook narrators do a fantastic job of conveying the story to listeners. The quality of the production is excellent, and audiobook lovers will get engrossed early on!

On the edge of my seat the whole time!

Holy guacamole this one was amazing!! I loves the twists and turns. The emotions. The heat. It was brilliant. And Blake and Heather? WOW. Their performances blew me out of the water! Incredible. A definite recommend for fans of BDSM and suspense!

This is an incredible audiobook! The storyline is hot, twisted, and sooooo well written! The characters are fantastic and the narrators are fantastic!

I thoroughly enjoyed this from start to finish and would HIGHLY recommend it! Author Lauren Runow nailed this underground erotic "secret club" storyline and Blake Lockheart and Heather Firth brought Kamii and Preston's characters to life.

Fantastic story!💜

Sometimes an author is so focused on making their novel full of sex, sexy scenes or erotica that they completely forget to write the story. Not in this case. Lauren Runow did a fantastic job creating an exciting suspense erotic romance with the perfect amount of everything. This story is hot! It’s also, suspenseful, fun and heartbreaking.
The BDSM is not hardcore but for this story it shouldn’t be. This book was highly entertaining and it will leave you on the edge (see what I did there? 😉) wanting more.
The narration was wonderful. Heather Firth performed with a submissive & erotic tone that really fit her character well. Blake Lockheart’s smooth and sexy voice of a dominate yet broken man was perfect for his character.
All the narration was performed brilliantly.
This is a standalone with an HEA.
I highly recommend this book!

Highly erotic

I’m not sure why, but I wasn’t expecting this to be so erotic, not a problem; I just didn’t expect it. When really if I had played closer attention to the blurb, I would have noticed the talk of a sex club… that should have clued me in! So, here’s your warning… this is highly sexual and HAWT! Besides that, though, this is a real story about coming to terms with a hurtful past. Preston lost his wife, and he still loves her and only wants to fulfill his physical needs… no feelings involved. Kamii went through a divorce and is in a bit of a rut when she meets Becca. Becca opens her up to a whole new world. When Preston and Kamii meet at Bridge (the club), they immediately feel an attraction to each other that leads them down a path towards emotions neither of them were expecting.

I enjoyed this story. As their story unravels, secrets come out, and chaos consumes them. When someone is murdered the story takes a devastating turn. Preston and Kamii need to find out if they can accept the other person without their mask and with all their baggage. The narration by Blake Lockheart and Heather Firth was just great. I’ve enjoyed both these narrators previously, and they didn’t disappoint in Black Widow either. I felt like they both handled the eroticness of the story flawlessly. They added a bit to it, in all honestly. When the tension and suspense got high, I felt it in their voices.
