The Tales of Triletus

A mysterious young boy appears on the doorstep of a kindly couple in the middle of a storm. They take him in, not realizing that he is their future king. The boy and his new guardians learn that he has special abilities, but his failure to use those powers as others desire ultimately forces him to leave that village. But on his way into exile, he is joined by new friends Aubrey and Olivia, two children who are transported from New York City into this magical realm, called Triletus. They help their new friend through adventures to search for a new home.

Two children in New York City, Paris and Magnus, ride the SeaGlass carousel in Battery Park and find themselves transported to Sepadocia, a leading city-state of the magical land of Triletus. There they fight the villainous Whisperer as he attempts to provoke war between Sepadocia and Sepaodica's rival city-state Murta and also to prevent Crown Prince Creedon's blessing of the marriage of the upright farmer Osias to the virtuous Heather.

Osiason (also known as "Osi", son of Osias and Heather of Sepadocia) is a premier warrior exiled from Sepadocia at the behest of the Whisperer, who sponsors a militia wreaking havoc across the realm of Triletus. To counter the militia, the city states of Triletus band together to form an army and recruit Osi out of exile to lead Triletus in battle, aided by four children from our world (Paris, Magnus, Aubrey and Olivia) and the Order of the Knights of Light. Who will prevail?

During a time of relative peace when Osi remains commander of the army, the magical realm of Triletus still resists uniting under rule by the Crown Prince Creedon. Triletus' assembly works with the Order of the Knights of Light to establish prosperity and order in the realm. Will the Assembly finally invite the Crown Prince to take his rightful throne as King?

The Whisperer is enraged that the Crown Prince is now King of the magical realm of Triletus, and seeks to depose him. Osi's roguish nephew Cato recognizes this and forms a band of youth, calling themselves the Jesters, to prepare a counterinsurgency against the Whisperer. Liam and Mia, two children from New York City, arrive to help. Who will prevail?

The Whisperer finally succeeds in removing Creedon from the throne of the magical realm of Triletus and replacing him with the dragon Teelawn, undoing much of the prosperity achieved under Creedon. Together, the Whisperer, Teelawn, and the false Knight of Light Nefer form a self-proclaimed Triad which rules Triletus into a state of willful decline. The Triad espouses that Might Makes Right, with the new Knights of Might supplanting the Knights of Light. Cato leads the Jesters in the rising resistance movement. Who will prevail?

The six children from our world (Aubrey, Olivia, Paris, Magnus, Liam, and Mia) who have previously had adventures in the magical realm of Triletus once more travel from New York City to Triletus, where they hope to help return Creedon to the throne after a final showdown between the Army of the Triad and the Army of the Resistance. Who will prevail?
