  • Episode 24 - The Lamb Is Carrying You
    Oct 21 2024

Before the death of Jesus, it was the role of priests to offer sacrifices to God as a way to atone for the sins of the people. These sacrifices, symbolized the need for cleansing and forgiveness in the eyes of God. However, after Jesus’ death, this system of sacrifice was no longer necessary. Jesus, being the perfect and sinless sacrifice, took on the weight of humanity’s sins through His death on the cross. By willingly laying down His life, He fulfilled the ultimate act of redemption. As a result, we are no longer required to bear the heavy burden of our sins, because Jesus bore it all for us. His sacrifice was once and for all, making it possible for us to live in freedom from guilt and separation from God. Through His death and resurrection, we are offered grace and forgiveness, allowing us to be reconciled with God without the need for ongoing sacrifices.
