We welcome our Provost, Dr. Beth Green, to share with the community. Dr. Green's message, based on Isaiah 40, is entitled "Signs of Hope and Comfort." It might feel a bit Christmassy again to return to Isaiah 40 but hope and comfort are not just for Christmas and the prophets discerned the signs of hope and comfort in the most unlikely of places. Join us for chapel and let the words of holy Scripture point us in the right direction this season of Epiphany.

We are very happy to welcome a long-time friend to Tyndale: Dr. Daniel Wong. Since retiring from his teaching post at Tyndale, Daniel has enjoyed connecting with people of different backgrounds, preaching in a variety of churches, watching his beloved Toronto Blue Jays, and traveling. He is married to Flora and has two adult children, including Joshua, a Registered Psychotherapist and a Tyndale Seminary graduate in Clinical Counselling. Daniel's message is entitled "Responding to the Word of God" and is based on James 1:19-27.

Lizzie Reynolds will continue to lead us through a contemplative prayer time considering the Christian virtues. This week's virtue is "love".

As is custom for the first Community Chapel of the new year, we are very pleased to welcome our President, Dr. Marjory Kerr, to speak to our community.

This week we welcome a new friend to the Tyndale Chapel pulpit: Bethany Nolson, Outreach Director at Cornerstone Christian Community Church in Markham. Bethany's message is entitled "Joy in Unlikely Places" based on a number of passages including Philippians 4:4.

Pastor Blake Davidson of Willowdale Pentecostal Church. Pastor Blake has been married to Christine for over thirty-nine years and they make their home in Toronto. He has been in full-time ministry for 41 years, serving as a lead pastor and church planter for the past twenty-six years. Blake's message is entitled "Ministry Secrets" and is based on several texts including Proverbs 25:2.
