story, acting, and sound design are top notch

This podcast is wonderful. Top quality. But the season three reveal of the main female character being same sex attracted took me away from the character. The sheer quantity of podcasts with the female lead being same sex attracted has cheapened it to the point that I expect it from every woman in every podcast. I was hoping this one would ditch the trope
