As we finished up our 40 days of prayer for our nation, we saw the Lord answer our petitions. After seeing abortion and drug legalization blocked in Florida, and several other prayers answered, we want to pause and give thanks to God for all He continues to do.

Boats, ghosts and storms, O my! Jesus' miraculous powers continue to be on display in the Gospel of John. Pastor Jerry reminds us that Jesus doesn't always calm the storm, but will always lead us through them.

When faced with a multitude of needy people, the disciples turned to their own solutions. But Jesus had a solution that no one thought of - He took a boy's little and made it a lot, so much so that there was an abundance left over! Join Pastor Jerry as he walks through bread, leaven, Passover, and other layers to this miracle recorded in all four Gospels.

Belief, evidence, testimony, witnesses, accusers...Jesus uses legal language in this teaching to convey a timeless truth. He is who He claims to be, John the Baptist and God the Father testify, and His works and miracles are the evidence.

But in His great grace, Jesus doesn't accuse us of our shortcomings and sin, but instead gives us His innocence through mercy and forgiveness. What an incredible reminder of God's love for us!

Life comes from the Father and through the Son to us! And the blessed hope that we have is not just life now, but eternal life - new heavens, new earth, and new bodies all in the resurrection. Jesus teaches on the final judgement and the resurrection of the dead from Revelation 20, so Pastor Jerry takes time to dig deeper into eschatology (study of the end times).

After healing the man at the pool of Bethesda, many of the religious leaders were angry at Jesus for healing on the Sabbath and making Himself equal with God. This passage begins the long journey of persecution that Jesus went through leading up to the His trial and execution. Pastor Jerry digs into the authority of the Son, and the divinity of Jesus through His response to the angry Pharisees.

Nations were created by God for His good purposes, and God also designed governments for a purpose. But what's our role as believers, as citizens of a heavenly kingdom? Pastor Jerry calls the church to repent, pray and return to the Lord, and exhorts us as American citizens to use our right to vote in a way that elects politicians and judges who will uphold God's values of life, freedom and righteousness.

38 years of pain, paralyzation and suffering - this man sat by a pool hoping for healing until the day Messiah came. He knew he needed help but had no idea how and when it might happen. Pastor Jonathan reminds us of the importance of faith in the waiting, that God can heal but sometimes chooses to allow suffering, and that we should continue seeking Jesus while we're asking and waiting.
