I LOVE LOVE LOVE this podcast. Wes, Jeff, and Mike are hilarious and I feel like I'm hanging out with my brothers when I'm listening.

They have really interesting information, and they use stories that, while sometimes have tragic ends, as teachable moments.

Absolutely Brilliant

I’ve been following Owlfaceowlface & Bryce on Instagram for a couple of years and just recently started following Wes for his bear quizzes on Instagram. I had no idea Wes had a podcast! Or that it was GREAT! I laugh more listening to Jeff’s commentary than I have with any other podcast in a while. I feel like I’ve finally found my podcast niche! Reminds me of the nerdy Adventure Zone podcast but with expert animal knowledge. I love all of the animal knowledge I now have prepared for any awkward encounters at parties.

The most fun you will have while listening to a podcast - and you’ll learn something too!

You guys work so well together, and every single episode gives me at least 1 laugh. The teasing and joking I’d hilarious at times, also super informative. Keep up the awesome job!

Can’t stop listening!

I love podcasts with biologists giving info and education, as well as good stories. These 3 guys have a natural dynamic that is fun to listen to and easy to follow during the course of my day. There are times I have to rewind, but the clarity of their voices and speaking along with their tempo means I'm not messing with my volume to catch what people are saying. It may seem small, but that can get annoying really fast.

If there was one thing I could change, the goofy 'categories' games would be at the END instead of right between the animal encounter story and the 'what to do' part of the episode. Having the best response to an attack explained right after hearing about the attack feels like the best way to teach people.

Helps me get through my boring day job

I am an aspiring wildlife biologist who's just finished my college degree and working for my states conservation department. This podcast is incredible! I love the true crime aspect of the animal attacks combined with the incredible biology of each animal that manages to shed good light on every animal involved in the encounters. The storytelling is great and all the guys are so funny. Fantastically paced podcast that caters to basically my main interest which is human wildlife conflict :)

Favorite podcast!

i’ve just started listening and i’m hooked! i have a morbid curiosity about animal attacks so love the podcast for that but ALSO i love the way they break it down and also give it much needed context to understand why these things happen. can’t wait to listen to more!

more maulings plz

I normally listen to crime podcasts... but one day I decided to give this show a shot. By far the best decision ever. I LOVE how all 3 guys have different takes and views yet blend so well. We have Wes, the smart biologist, Jeff, the hilarious smart-ass with horrible ideas (who also causes me to laugh way too much) and Mike, the one who is experiencing this all through them 😂 Let's just say Wes would be crawling in the den, Jeff would be outside giving bad advice while Mike is at home editing this whole scene 😂

Literally the BEST

The guys are thorough in their research. They're advocates for all animals and obviously care. They're also hilarious. Even their collabs are top notch listening.

One of my absolute favorites podcasts
