The Willows; Mystery on the Air

Two men on a canoe trip down a raging river take shelter for the night on a temporary, sand bar island. Then, as night falls, the island reveals its horrible secret. Based on the short story by Algernon Blackwood.

Good adaptation of the story.

I read the story a few years ago and found it more atnosphere than horrifying. This audio play cuts to the action and adds some tension. Goof creepy audio sound sffects. Good listen.
