"My dreams flourish at night, then fade in the reality of the daylight, so now I allow myself time to daydream." - Johnnie Williams III -

This thought was the most accurate portrayal of how I have operated for years and years. I believe our minds are like 3D printers that can actually manifest nearly anything into existence. But, this personal power often produces more destructive or chaotic realities for good people that have forgotten that they have forgot. Unfortunately, so many of our dreams and visions fade as we open our eyes each mourning, which serves as the death of ideas that might have set us free.

It is in the dream state that our thoughts are FREE, until we re-awaken back into this assimilation we call life. So my day dreams serve as a way for me to tap back into this creativity which aids the alchemic ability to change anything bad to good. I am a Pisces, born on 3/15/72 (the Ides of March). I have always been a dreamer, but I have worked hard to place frameworks around my concepts and constructs that support their implementation. Some have said that we process nearly 60-80,000 thoughts per day, which reflects our inner abundance or poverty based upon their vibrational frequency.

My ideas seem endless and even limitless at times and that has drawn my attention to the work of Nikola Tesla and his 369 philosophy. The abundance of energy that can be accessed is just like the creative thoughts that we can tap into as well. But, on one of my moments #caughtINthought I realized that my birthdate summed to 369:

    March = 3

    15th Day (1+5) = 6

    72nd Year (7+2) = 9

or you can just take the month (3) and add it to the sum of the 15th day (6) and it = 9

Why do I share this with YOU?

Because, when I was chastised for day-thinking to often as a child; no one knew that I was pondering the American Dream concept. What I saw, that I hope you see is the "I CAN" nestled within the word American. This was very liberating for me as a young Afr(ican) Amer(ican). Seeing that I can... 2 times within my racial classification was very empowering. So, the historical narrative often discussed in His-Story class no longer shackled my mind or mindset to low vibrational thoughts of shame and lack.

And, that was the beginning of the creation of the Johnnie E. Williams, I have become. Please consider subscribing to my podcast and helping to pollinate the positive message by sharing it with at least 1 person. I hope to see you in The Thought Tribe sharing your opinions and aiding the dialogue.

"Today I took my own advice, and it worked! You should try listening to your inner voice more often." - Johnnie Williams III -

I have often told students and coaching clients to write down the ideas and thoughts that come while #caughtinthought - but I didn't always do what I was suggesting. So, as this thought came to mind, I decided (8 years ago) to begin writing down all the crafty and insightful phrases and thoughts as they would come. And they would come to me at the oddest times which often required that I quickly text myself so that I wouldn't forget them. And, this went on for some time.

Wondering what I should do with them, I sat and thought about the advice I'd give to someone else in a similar situation; and then it came to me that I should create a @JohnnieTalks Twitter account for my thoughts. At the time, I only had about 13 thought provoking phrases, but that has now grown into more than 1,111 of my own (original) statements under the brand Think About It... Something inside of me suggested that I write my thoughts down - then I felt it might be wise to post them for others to see. Now you can see where a simple thought (here and there) has taken me, and how a brand has emerged from this one decision.

    - I believe that we all have this deep inner knowing that often gets ignored because we seek others advice which might indicate - we are lacking confidence in our own innerstanding (an understanding).

    - Sometimes we seek validation for our thoughts and ideas from those we know, trust and follow.

    - What I have found for myself is that I often knew what was best for me - or what I should do (all along).

    - First, you must identify YOUR voice from amongst all the outer noise in the background, which is filled with distractions.

    - I used to always say to myself... "The little birdie in my ear was right, and tried to warn me." But, too often failed to listen to my own discernment and inner wisdom, and suggest that you not fail to follow your own higher self.

The key word from this post that I want YOU to focus upon is beLIEve. For what you believe is what you get. I believed that my simple thoughts would become something one day and here they are, bringing you and other Thought Tribe members to this very blog. But, early on I mismanaged my BELIEFS by thinking that my first book of thoughts was not good enough to publish, because family and friends didn't read or offer feedback on the completed manuscript. So this gem sat on the shelf for 7 yrs until 2020, when so many of us found ourselves soul searching during the great shutdown. It was my own thoughts that held me together and inspired me to pivot back to my writing, since my public speaking career had suddenly slammed on brakes.

3 bits of advice that I have come up with for mySELF to follow are:

    1) Finish what you start (this blog is included in that).

    2) Mind your mind; meaning your mental health and inner dialogue or SELF talk.

    3) Think prior to doing anything, because that act of just doing without thinking is base more in subconscious programming that might be hardwired to direct you straight into a past problem.

We'd like to say that it is our intention to create a Thought Tribe where YOU and others can feel safe to express varying

"Who you were yesterday produced today's results; use today to unlock tomorrow's doors and keep evolving." - Johnnie Williams III -

As YOU find the ideal path for your life, it is important to consider (that) - the path is not outside of YOU. The path is within YOU! And, as this suggestion is being made, let me suggest that:

    - YOU are not your emotions

    - YOU are not your esteem

    - YOU are not your ego

But, YOU must master these forms of energy to EVOLve or truly LOVE YOUrsellf and others too. The life path has been laid out with points of inspiration that beckon YOU to continue. The lessons that come are necessary for preparing YOU for the tests you must pass to proceed onward to your higher or highest self. Checkout the Self Talk book to explore interesting success strategies and 33 lessons for life improvement.

Know that YOU are exactly where you currently are- by way of who you have consistently been, and what you have been doing (over & over). So, do something intentional with this (NOW) moment that is molding and shaping what is to come. YOU are on a journey that might involve three components that Dr. Joseph Campbell focused his research:

The Hero's Journey (and Dorthy's too)

Step 1 - The Separation (takes courage)

Step 2 - The Initiation (refine Intellect)

Step 3 - The Return (with purpose)

The documentary 'Finding Joe' does a great job highlighting his work and its purpose, and is something I'd recommend watching if you have not seen it. Something to Think About...

Silence allows me to coexist with anyone, but communication allows for a meaningful relationship to grow.” - Johnnie Williams III -

To be open and honest with the Tribe… this theme and thought take me back to my frustrations with a past relationship. I wasn’t frustrated because love was lacking. I was upset because our lack of communication prohibited a deeper connection from growing, and silence allowed for years of co-existence.

    The truth was:
-I’d never get back the time and I hoped that time would somehow fix what was wrong.

-I felt very alone inside of my beautiful home - shared with others.

-I eventually had to let go because we weren’t a good fit for a lifetime commitment.

It hurt when I finally faced the truth (initially), but I am here today – happy as can be. I’m blessed with the most amazing partner for me in taleenSofee.com . I received this advice and it helped during my transition. It was to be respectful, but understand that I was not responsible for how others might struggle with my truth. The key word to focus on from this thought is [silence]. It has a purpose and should be used wisely, but it does not fix anything and often reveals that something could be wrong.

We find ourselves in a very noisy world that appears in some ways to be getting even worse. But some of our societal issues exist because of the silence. A lot of good people sitting back and watching as time passes, failing to step forward and step up to say something.

    • We need to speak our truth (respectfully)
    • We need to except the truth even when it’s ugly
    • We need to tell the truth and stop living the lies

“The truth hurts a lot less when you decide to set it free…” - Johnnie Williams

    Ask Yourself:
    Why does the truth hurt?

Who will your true hurt the most?

Do we even seek the truth anymore?

"Your teachers can help you find an answer... But only your heart can help you find a purpose." Johnnie Williams III

I can remember (long ago) being asked by a young boy from Detroit, Michigan...

    Why are you here?

    Can we really trust you?

Or - are you going to leave and not come back too?

His heartfelt question activated the passion in me and touched my heart, as this moment offered me the opportunity to embrace my purpose. And, I am still working from those three questions to this day. I still ask myself each of them prior to delving into any new endeavors that focus upon service to others.

The word to focus upon with this thought and theme is [Follow].

I would like to encourage you to wrap your mind around this moment and let your heart lead you to where you are challenged to step in or step up. I believe that in this moment, and on this day, my purpose is to be right where I am- writing this blog recap of The Think About It... podcast #6. But, 7 years ago my purpose was to just catch this thought and write it down so that (today) we can dialogue about its meaning. I strongly feel that our purpose for living is to LIVE, and our purpose evolves with the changing moments. So, the theme, Follow Your Purpose is suggesting that you grasp this moment to serve your SELF and others.

Over the years my concept of purpose has broadened from thinking...

    - It had to be something huge.

    - It had to sound big to others.

    - It is no way that it can be something simple.

I was left to figure out such a deep concept on my own. And, many of the dictionary definitions of the word offer vague analogies to illuminate such a powerful concept. So maybe you should define it for yourself, and operate from that definition.

    Here's my definition:

    P present moments wrapped in

U unique opportunities to serve a

    R role of

    P prominence in

    O our

    S society - that supports

    E evolution individually and collectively

3 Questions I'd like to ask you:

    1) What is your heart telling you to do with your life?

    2) What will you do to provide yourself the time to find your answer?

    3) And, once you have found it- what will be your next step?

Thank you again for taking the time to read my podcast comments and be inspired to download the Think About It... daily thought app on either Apple or Android devices.
