Which parts of the game separate higher handicaps and "average" players How big of a penalty is being short-sided? great podcast to help properly frame your mind

I really enjoyed this episode as I prepared and set my goals for 2023. It helped me create the proper expectations and mindset for the upcoming year.

Although it wasn't aside in the podcast, it reminded me of the book 4 disciplines of execution and to focus on lead measurements, and the lag measurements will take care of themselves. Set the goals on things I can control, like exercise, practice, mindset, and my handicap will take care of itself.

Best quote of the podcast was "Long term success is the aggregate of marginal gain" by Dave Brailsford. This is a great way to frame the improvements for my golf game.
