In this Special Edition Episode of The Strange Road Mikey & Bub are back with a Tribute to their mentor, friend and Folk Legend, Jim Bowsher (November 3, 1948 - June 12, 2024). Jim was the visionary behind The Temple of Tolerance, prolific writer, humanitarian, philosopher, storyteller, folk artist and historian. Jim was different things to many different people. Jim always encouraged us to pursue our passions and stay on the path no matter what. From they day we met him he encouraged us to be independent and to not be reliant on the big corporate machines. Over the last 17 years Jim always made time to spend time with us at The Temple of Tolerance when we needed inspiration or direction. The guys were privileged to have been invited into his home where he shared many of the stories connected to his massive collection of artifacts and historical items. We'll never forget those hours and hours of time we spent with Jim. We do our best to share some of his stories as best we could in memory of him.
