I had written and recorded an entire episode. Then the video from a Minnkota pastor was uploaded (and taken down) with some really telling behavior.  I ditched the other podcast and just riffed. In this episode I reflect on the feeling of this past synod.  Something just didn't feel right.  The Chrisitan Reformed Church made some decisions and people are just beginning to surface to share their hearts. Consider this my attempt to join that fold

Perhaps you've been raised to "take the Bible literally." Perhaps for you that meant your salvation hinged on whether you thought evolution was real or whether it's okay to be gay.  In this episode I try, or at least begin to try to debunk the notion that some people read the Bible literally and some do not.  

Each of us picks and chooses the parts of the Bible we most resonate with.  What do we do with those parts of the Bible and how does it cause us to approach life?

I wander between about three topics here from Creation to Sexuality to European Colonizers and their treatment of the native inhabitants of America.
