The Schools Week Podcast

By: Schools Week
  • Summary

  • To mark the 10th anniversary of Schools Week, we are excited to launch a special podcast series based on our anniversary edition.

Turning the Pages on a Decade of Education Reform will feature in-depth interviews with some of the leading architects and key figures behind the most significant education reforms of the past decade. From policymakers and advisors to school leaders and teachers, our guests will provide unique insights into how these policies were developed, what worked, what didn’t, and what lessons we can take forward for the next 10 years.

Hosted by Laura McInerney, former editor of Schools Week, and joined by current editor John Dickens and deputy editor Freddie Whittaker, each episode will explore a major reform, from the birth of academy commissioners to the SEND crisis going mainstream, and everything in between.

This is a must-listen for anyone passionate about the future of education in the UK.

Tune in to hear from the voices who shaped the last decade and what they believe is next for schools in the years to come.

Episodes are published weekly on a Wednesday.
