The guy is annoying
You know when podcasters try desperately to be edgy but it’s just annoying. That’s this guy. The co-host is fine.

the male podcaster is pompous.. the Book is great.
It is obvious this man has no idea about the appeal of Foo Fighters how they and Dave respects their fans. also, there are many beautiful melodic songs. open your mind and listen to deep cuts. the tattoos are not done symbolic ethereal connection
the male on this podcast has zero cool.

Love me some Galaxie 500!
I can totally relate! Been a fan for about 2 years now. I have their albums and am obsessed with their performance in Copenhagen of Don't Let Our Youth Go To Waste.

Not what I expected
This was an audible suggestion, and I was excited. I love music and biographies of musicians. I thought this would be a real treat, a podcast with musicians talking about their biographies. Wrong. The lady, Martha, is good. But the guy is really hard to like.
I picked the Chrissy Hynde episode to start off, because I love the Pretenders and was interested in her story. Ten minutes in I realized my assumption was wrong, there would be no involvement from Ms. Hynde. Instead, I listened to this snarky, obnoxious guy saying whatever he could to insult and denigrate her and her book. Even the music. Its dated, it's amateurish, its just not good. Martha asks him what records he listened to in order to form this opinion. Oh, none. But the music is really bad, just trust me. He trashed the music several times, and then repeated that he didn't even listen to a record. And that wasn't the worst of it. According to this ridiculous dude, she is a terrible human being. In fact, she has done so many bad things, she doesn't even deserve to be around anymore. Wait a minute, what did he say? I had to rewind and listen again. Sure enough he actually said, "she doesn't deserve to be around anymore." In other words, she deserves to be dead. Alrighty then. If you want to try this podcast, I suggest trying the Chrissy Hynde episode first. If you want a mean spirited, nasty, extremely judgemental person ripping apart musicians biographies (and music), this podcast is for you. For me, it was one and done. And it was a struggle to make it all the way through that one episode.

The guy podcaster doesn’t know what he’s talking about
He says he thinks fans will not like the book because it’s not about AC/DC. Well, fans already know it’s not about the band. The story is about Brian’s life prior and up to the joining of the band. This guy has no clue.
It was one of the best books and stories I have ever read. Brian is a great story teller too.
