  • The Black Lincoln Collective Comedy Podcast #74 | By Association
    Sep 24 2024

The Black Lincoln Collective Comedy Podcast: Episode #159 (or #74 if you're *that* person) Welcome to another laugh-riot edition of The Black Lincoln Collective Comedy Podcast, where Matt, Fred, and Allan prove, once again, that expertise is overrated. This week, Fred’s stomach takes center stage, thanks to some regrettable Chinese takeout. Pro tip: if the fortune cookie feels damp, *don’t eat it*. With Fred down but definitely not out, the guys tackle the deep questions, like why AI keeps spitting out images of Jesus. Are we witnessing a tech miracle or just people with way too much time on their hands? Either way, we’re here to roast it. And speaking of ancient wisdom, Fred serves up some killer international proverbs, including gems like, “A monkey in silk is still a monkey” (shoutout to Haiti) and a Japanese classic about husbands that will have you questioning your life choices—or at least your spouse’s wardrobe. The absurdity doesn’t stop there. The team dives into the tragic comedy of modern baby names. (Seriously, what even *is* a “Braxxlynn”? Does it come with free Wi-Fi?) Matt, Fred, and Allan do their best to spell and pronounce the wildest names they’ve come across, with predictably chaotic results. Fred also opens the door to his meme-filled brain and his oddly satisfying obsession with YouTube science experiments. If you’ve ever wondered how long it takes to melt a crayon with a hairdryer, Fred’s got you covered. And just when you think the nonsense is over, the crew closes things out with a deep dive—pun intended—on bidets. Yes, bidets. Should you try one? Are they life-changing? Does Fred use one *too much*? You’ll have to tune in to find out. Oh, and we’ve got a **special sponsor message** from Jergens’ new pumpkin spice lotion. Because nothing says seasonal like smelling like a latte. So, buckle up for Episode #159: where stomachaches, science, and silky monkeys collide. It’s the Black Lincoln Collective Comedy Podcast—chaos guaranteed!

  • The Black Lincoln Collective Comedy Podcast #73 | Cukes and Dooks
    Sep 17 2024

The Black Lincoln Collective Comedy Podcast: Episode #158 (or #73 if you're keeping count like the true legend you are) Coming to you live from the sprawling, totally-not-overhyped EC Studios of upstate South Carolina, Matt, Fred, and Allan are back with another hilariously unqualified take on the week’s weirdest happenings. This week, we’re dialing up the chaos—literally. First, Fred and Allan go head-to-head in an epic debate over area codes. That’s right: 864 vs. 813. Which one has the cooler vibe? The stronger street cred? Spoiler alert: none of them, but it’s fun watching them try to make a case. Next, things get philosophical (don’t worry, it’s brief). Fred finds himself in a moral pickle, and the guys weigh in with advice that is, let’s just say, less than ethically sound. Prepare to laugh, cringe, and question your own life choices. Speaking of questionable life choices, Fred recounts a showdown with a “Karen” at his kid’s travel baseball game. Was Fred the hero we didn’t know we needed, or did he dive headfirst into the petty pool? We’ve got the receipts—well, the audio clips—so you can be the judge. And if you think that’s wild, wait until we hit the news. An oven misfires in Virginia (seriously), Venezuela’s president kicks off Christmas in October, and Washington DC experiences its very own cucumber caper. Yes, this is real life, folks. Finally, we wrap up with NFL fever. Who’s taking the Lombardi Trophy this year? The Dolphins? The Lions? The Jets? (LOL, the Jets.) We break it all down, sprinkle in some hot takes, and pretend we’re experts. So, grab a drink, adjust your area code loyalty, and prepare for the madness. The Black Lincoln Collective Comedy Podcast: where reality meets ridiculousness and nothing makes sense—but hey, it’s a good time. Tune in!

  • The Black Lincoln Collective Comedy Podcast #72 | The Fat Eagle Flies Again!
    Sep 3 2024

The Black Lincoln Collective Comedy Podcast: Episode #156 (or #72 if you're keeping track on the PopCulturePros Network, you nerds)

Brace yourselves for another absurd, laugh-out-loud ride with Matt, Fred, and Allan—our self-proclaimed comedy geniuses who tackle the week’s most mind-boggling topics armed with zero expertise and even less shame. This week’s lineup? Oh, it’s a doozy.

First up, we’ve got parenting stories that will make you feel like a rockstar—or at least less of a failure—at the next school event. Ever felt invisible at a PTA meeting? Welcome to the club. Our hosts spill their own cringeworthy tales from the social minefield of school functions. Think of it as therapy, but with way more laughs and no co-pay.

But wait, there’s more! We’re talking news so ridiculous you’ll think we made it up (we didn’t, we swear). Like the New Zealand mayor who delivered a roast-worthy response to a complaining constituent. Or a bald eagle who literally ate himself out of flight—because apparently even majestic predators can have a cheat day. And don’t get us started on RFK Jr. and his *whale head adventure*. No, we’re not joking. Yes, you’ll wish we were.

Oh, and speaking of WTF moments, we’ll dive into a "Jaws of Life" heist during a rescue operation—because why wouldn’t you steal lifesaving equipment mid-emergency? And let’s not forget the *chef’s kiss* of criminal absurdity: a school worker who somehow stole $1.5 million worth of chicken wings. Yes, wings. Boneless or not, we don’t judge.

So grab your headphones, your sense of humor (and maybe a snack, but watch those chicken wings), and get ready for the chaos. The Black Lincoln Collective Comedy Podcast: where absurdity isn’t just a topic, it’s a lifestyle. Don’t miss it!

  • The Put it in the Books Show S7 E18: Mets' Wild Card Chase and West Coast Wars
    Aug 22 2024

In this week's episode of *The Put it in the Books Show*, Farace, Rodriguez, and Keith are back to dissect the latest Mets action—while Producer Joe takes half the show off, presumably to rest up for his next mysterious appearance behind the wall. The Mets are coming off a successful stretch, taking 4 of 6 from the Marlins and Orioles, complete with the kind of dramatics that make you wonder if the team secretly moonlights in Broadway musicals. With just 36 games left to determine if the Mets will be playing in October or just planning their fall vacations, the tension is higher than Rodriguez’s blood pressure during a close game. Francisco Lindor made history, becoming the first shortstop ever to hit at least 25 home runs and steal 25 bases in three or more seasons. It’s a stat so impressive, even Keith had to pause his rant on bullpen usage to give a nod of approval. But the real test is on the horizon as the Mets prepare for their most crucial road trip of the season: four games against the Padres and three against the Diamondbacks—both teams that are ahead of the Mets in the wild card standings. It’s a West Coast showdown that could make or break the season, or at least give Farace something to yell about. Tune in as the guys break it all down with their usual mix of dry humor and reluctant optimism. Whether or not the Mets make it to October, this episode will have you more entertained than watching Keith try to explain sabermetrics. #PiitB #Mets
