  • The Plane That Took A Train is a musical radio play for children ages 7 and up, and adults of all ages. It tells the story of Kaytaiya, the Queen's dog, who must lead a heroic quest to bring back a sad Little Plane to her state of Zintaurus to thwart an evil king. And she must do it while magically transformed into the body of a cat! She enlists the help of a defeated steam locomotive, Joe, and a mysterious, socially withdrawn one-armed dog named Freckles. Adventure and romantic complications ensue.This is a rousing and touching tale that deals with overcoming adversity and fighting for truth within ourselves and in the world at large. Story is by Bob Druker, with songs by Bob Druker and Steve Dawson.

    Ravenna’s plan calls for Kaytaiya and Eorik to travel across the country and bring back the Little Plane to jump-start the engines of the Big Planes. They are to return by the steam locomotive train named Joe - if they can persuade him to carry them! Kaytaiya is distressed to find that in the plan, she must be magically transformed into the body of a cat. And Joe is found to be under the spell of a mind-numbing weed.
