Ecclesiastes 3:1 There is a time for everything, and a season for

every activity under heaven: 2 a time to be born and a time to die,

a time to plant and a time to uproot, 3 a time to kill and a time to

heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, - (NIV84)

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He

has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom

what God has done from beginning to end. 12 I know that there

is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they

    live. - (NIV84)

Romans 5:6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still

powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die

for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly

dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:

While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - (NIV84)

What we fail to rule will rule us

1 Samuel 17:8 Goliath stood and shouted to the ranks of Israel,

“Why do you come out and line up for battle? Am I not a Philistine,

and are you not the servants of Saul? Choose a man and have

him come down to me. 9 If he is able to fight and kill me, we

will become your subjects; but if I overcome him and kill him, you

will become our subjects and serve us.” 10 Then the Philistine

said, “This day I defy the ranks of Israel! Give me a man and let

us fight each other.” 11 On hearing the Philistine’s words, Saul

and all the Israelites were dismayed and terrified. - (NIV84)

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the

wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman,

“Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the

    garden’?” - (NIV84)

What we fail to rule will rule us

    1. Goliath was sure of victory - ready to rule Israel

    2. Adam failed to rule the serpent, then it ruled him

    3. Cain was unwilling to rule over sin then it got him

  • The man who struggled with God & men
    Sep 17 2024

Genesis 32:24 Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled

with him until the breaking of day. 25 Now when He saw that He

did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and

the socket of Jacob’s hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him.

26 And He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.” But he said, “I

will not let You go unless You bless me!” 27 So He said to him,

“What is your name?” He said, “Jacob.” 28 And He said, “Your

name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have

struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.” 29 Then

Jacob asked, saying, “Tell me Your name, I pray.” And He said,

“Why is it that you ask about My name?” And He blessed him

there. 30 So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: “For I

have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” 31 Just

as he crossed over Penuel the sun rose on him, and he limped

    on his hip. -

So glad we can be together

Jeremiah 23:23 “Am I only a God nearby,” declares the Lord, “and not a God far away? 24 Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the Lord. “Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord. - (NIV)

Genesis 16:8 And he said, “Hagar, slave of Sarai, where have you come from, and where are you going?” “I’m running away from my mistress Sarai,” she answered. 9 Then the angel of the Lord told her, “Go back to your mistress and submit to her.” 10 The angel added, “I will increase your descendants so much that they will be too numerous to count.” - (NIV)

Psalms 32:1 Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. 2 Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit. - (NIV)

  • Dissecting the two kinds of Wisdom BY Pst. Jonas Chongo
    Sep 3 2024

Welcome to church! COME INTO HIS HOUSE | Dissecting the two kinds of Wisdom James 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. 14 But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. 15 Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. - (NIV) James 3:17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. - (NIV)

  • Are Your Steps Directed by God? By Elder Fredrick Chitangalaa
    Aug 18 2024

Psalm 37:23-24 “The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He

delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble,

they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.”

Matthew 4:1-3 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wil-

derness to be tempted by the devil. 2 After fasting forty days

and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 The tempter came to him

and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to be-

    come bread.”

Jeremiah 6:16 Thus says the Lord: “Stand by the roads, and

    look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is;

and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We

    will not walk in it.’

Are Your Steps Directed by God?

    1. The Lord directs the steps of the godly - are you godly?

    2. He delights in every detail of their lives - assess yourself

    3. Though they stumble, they will never fall
