Did police and prosecutors know the identity of person whose DNA was under the fingernails and did they ignore this because it would ruin their case against murder defendant Vern Braswell?

Trial prosecutor (and now District Attorney General) Amy P Weirich, disregarded DNA evidence recovered from under the deceased fingernails that suggested murder trial defendant Vern Braswell was actually innocent.

Press Release 7 asks was a White Shelby County criminal court judge’s repeated instances of overt and covert disrespect towards Black defendant Vern Braswell, her failure to protect the integrity of withheld evidence by prosecutors, and her inaccurate conclusions used to deny this Black murder defendant, evidence of a Shelby County Jim Crow Justice system?

Braswell probably needed a 1968 "I AM MAN" sign to remind the Judge that he was a man, and NOT three-fifths of a man!

Judge seems to back off issue of hiding potential evidence of innocence because head District Attorney General Amy P Weirich’s initials were on the sealed envelope of evidence.

Judge even seemed okay with evidence in the prosecutors’ possession mysteriously disappearing.
