  • The Vitality of Corporate Worship
    Mar 13 2023

Episode six of The Gospel Rhythms Podcast has Daniel and Ryan talking about the gospel rhythm of corporate worship.

What is "corporate worship?" Gathering together with other believers in a local church.

"I would argue that we can't truly grow as Christians and grow in our faith until we are partnered with other Christians and we are exercising our faith in a communal setting."

    Scriptures Referenced

Ephesians 5:1-2, 25—Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God... Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her...

Hebrews 10:19-25— Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

  • Doing Life Together
    Feb 27 2023

In episode five of The Gospel Rhythms Podcast, Daniel and Ryan discuss the gospel rhythm of community.

    Scriptures Referenced

Genesis 2:18-22—Then the LORD God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.” Now out of the ground the LORD God had formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name. The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper fit for him. So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. And the rib that the LORD God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man.

Acts 2:42-47—And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
