    Dec 16 2024

In the final installment of this jaw-dropping two part episode we delve into the wild and heartbreaking story of a listener who thought she’d found her king only to discover he was the ultimate con artist. From the tiki bar where they met to the shocking revelations that left her life in ruins, this story delves into the seedy underworld of the Elvis impersonator performance circuit. But this isn't just about one man’s betrayal—it's about resilience, uncovering the truth, and warning others about the dangers of "perfect" partners who hide their true selves. • The Prophecy: Part 2
    Dec 2 2024
In this shocking conclusion of a two-part series, Mackenzie and Hanna continue listening to Jubilee's story, whose journey takes listeners through the dangerous intersection of cult beliefs, prophetic manipulation, and emotional abuse.

Jubilee begins by recounting her entry into the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, a religious community known for its belief in miracles and prophetic visions. Amid the indoctrination, she meets Ted, a charismatic fellow member whose grand romantic gestures and shared faith quickly draw her in.

Their whirlwind romance takes a dramatic turn when a public prophecy declares Jubilee as "God’s gift" to Ted, cementing the belief that their union is divinely ordained, but everything is not what it seems.

I like it but…

I like this podcast it’s super entertaining and overall gives you lots of things to look out for. McKenzie’s PI stories are some of my favorite content for sure. What I don’t like is how the ladies, mostly Hannah, over talk guests when they are telling their stories. It can become annoying when they interject with an unnecessary“jokey comment” right in the middle of someone’s sentence. When they interject with serious questions or clarifying questions it’s fine. I think they should weigh the importance of their comments because it can be so distracting. I also don’t like their double standard. If women or someone in the LGBTQ community do something shady, they seem to make excuses for their behavior and give them a ton of grace, but if a straight man does it, he’s the worst person on earth. A liar is a liar and a cheater is a cheater, doesn’t matter what your reason is. Just my opinion. Overall I enjoy it and like the work the ladies are doing to educate us all, especially those on the dating scene.
