The Cornflakes of Christian Health

  • Summary

  • ABOUT THE EPISODE

In this episode of the Christian Wellbeing Show, host Michelle delves into the hidden health risks of common breakfast staples like cornflakes, critiquing their nutritional deficiencies, the risks of processed additives such as refined sugars and high fructose corn syrup, and the dangers of glyphosates.

She underscores the significance of starting the day with nutritious whole foods and provides healthier breakfast alternatives such as porridge, muesli, and whole grain cereals. The discussion includes the benefits of choosing organic and non-GMO foods, and advocates for informed, holistic dietary choices grounded in Christian values and wisdom.

Michelle encourages Christians to abandon the old-fashioned, nutritionless ‘cornflake’ ideas of health, ‘grow up’ in their relationship with food, and make better food choices to enhance overall wellbeing and avoid avoidable health issues.
