Love Her Energy

I love Cathy's energy. I had listened to some of her podcasts awhile ago, but then life kinda happened and I lost track of them. I'm starting a new chapter in my life though and knew I had to find her and her energy again.

Chock Full of Motivation and Inspiration

Cathy does an excellent job interviewing others in a way that really inspires you to follow them for more information and in a way that makes you want to do and be better. Every time I listen I leave the podcast with a more uplifting outlook on my personal experiences and life in general. I highly recommend listening as often as possible.

It really is never too late!

This had to be one of the most inspiring things I've ever heard. So many things stood out - aside from and considering the fact that she is 102 - but especially Dr. McGarey's clarity, humor, strength of conviction, and her courage and wisdom are just a few of the qualities that jumped out at me. One stand out moment is when she said she finally learned to stop deflecting her brilliance at - wait for it - 93. Ninety-freaking-three! In that moment, I finally really got that it really is never too late to grow and step further into your brilliance. I ordered both The World Needs Old Ladies (it is out of print but I found a copy on eBay!) and The Well-Lived Life. You really must listen to this episode.
