  • The Fullness of God
    Jul 9 2025
God calls us to be full—not empty. He wants to fill us with both His Spirit and His Word so we can overflow with love, hope, and peace. In Acts 4–6, we see believers who were bold, Spirit-filled, and deeply rooted in Scripture. They spread the gospel with courage, even in the face of persecution and suffering, counting it a joy to suffer for Jesus. They didn’t conform to the culture or stay silent—they lived empowered lives because they were led by the Holy Spirit.

The Christian life is supernatural, and the Spirit’s fruit—like love, joy, and peace—is the evidence. Stay devoted to God's Word, build daily habits in Scripture, and seek His presence through surrender, repentance, and prayer. Let Him fill you daily.

In studying Psalm 40, we see how God lifts us from the mire of sin—addictions and struggles that try to control us. We must choose to serve either sin or Jesus. True change comes from a heart transformed by encountering Christ. His love heals our pain, and His truth brings clarity. Through prayer, worship, Scripture, and the Holy Spirit, God empowers us and calls us to build habits that keep us walking in the light.

  • Do Not Bury It
    Jun 25 2025
We're studying the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14–30), which teaches that God generously gives us time, talents, resources, and opportunities to serve Him. We're called to full, not partial, faithfulness. While often only a few in the church are active, God wants the whole body of Christ engaged. Even though we are saved by Jesus' sacrifice, our faithfulness still matters and is rewarded. Responsibilities are equal, even if gifts differ. Let your light shine, be bold with the gospel, use your spiritual gifts, and live courageously for Christ in this moment.

  • Wolves in Sheep's Clothing
    Jun 18 2025
Stay spiritually alert and discerning—false teachers may appear godly but bring deception, sin, and destruction. Recognize them by their actions and stand firmly for God’s truth. Don’t ignore red flags; listen to the Holy Spirit, seek facts, and have the courage to confront evil. Like Jesus, David, and Moses, have a zeal for God’s honor. Confront darkness with humility, walking as a light in the world.

  • Supernatural Power
    Jun 11 2025
When we seek God's presence first, we receive His peace, power, and purpose. Throughout Scripture, God demonstrates His supernatural power—parting the Red Sea, bringing down Jericho’s walls, feeding thousands—often in response to simple acts of obedience. God typically asks us to take small, faithful steps, and then He does what only He can do. The challenge is clear: Don’t settle for empty religion. We need God’s living power in our hearts, homes, and churches.

  • The Difficult Step
    Jun 4 2025
Stepping out in faith often means entering into what is new, unknown, uncomfortable, and risky. It rarely feels safe or certain. Yet, God honors bold trust, and that first step—however uncertain—can lead to massive breakthrough. Sometimes God gives clear direction; other times He calls us to move forward even when clarity is lacking. In both, we are called to trust Him and say “yes.” He sees the full picture even when we don’t.

  • Religion Gone Bad
    May 28 2025
Religion criticizes, condemns, and resists change, while Jesus brings truth, grace, and life. From the woman caught in adultery to David’s worship and the Samaritan woman, we see that religion clings to the past and appearances, but Jesus seeks hearts. True faith moves forward in relationship with Him, not in empty rituals or legalism.

  • Worship Wars
    May 21 2025
Everyone is created to worship. If we don't worship Jesus, we'll end up worshiping something else. God alone is worthy of our worship, which should be a heartfelt response to who He is and what He’s done. True worship is done in spirit and truth, with reverence, humility, and gratitude. Pride hinders true worship. Worship requires full engagement, surrender, and should not be casual or distracted. It's a lifestyle, not just a moment, and there’s a spiritual battle over our worship and devotion.
