Alright, U Heard fam, buckle up! You know the drill, we're diving headfirst into the madness that is Miami Hurricanes recruiting. And what a weekend it's been in Coral Gables! Your hosts, Joey, Polk, CB, and Ben, are here to break it all down.

Recruit Reactions: The Word from Paradise!

The red carpet was rolled out, and the talent parade did not disappoint. We caught up with all the future Hurricanes on their way out of Coral Gables, and the vibes were through the roof!

First up, five-star wide receiver Calvin Russell from Miami Northwestern. This local phenom, with his mom a U hoops legend, told us the visit solidified Miami's dual-sport appeal. "It feels like home, truly," Russell said, hinting that the opportunity to dominate both the gridiron and the hardwood is a major pull. #CalvinRussell #5Star #DualSport

From the West Coast, Top247 tight end Israel Briggs flew from California. Briggs was effusive about the offensive scheme. "The way they plan to use me as a flex TE is exactly what I'm looking for," he shared, clearly impressed with the personalized approach. The Canes are making a serious push, and it sounds like they've made a real impression. #IsraelBriggs #TEU #WestCoastToTheU

Top 100 pass-catcher, Zion Robinson, a wide receiver from Texas, made his return, and it seems the pool party vibes are still strong. Robinson emphasized the academic presentation. "Education is huge for me, and Miami showcased how they support that alongside football," he noted, indicating the Hurricanes' commitment to holistic development resonated deeply. #ZionRobinson #Academics #TexasTalent

Tennessee wide receiver commit Tyran Evans took another look at the U, and it's safe to say South Florida's gravitational pull is real. While tight-lipped, Evans was seen beaming after his conversations with the coaching staff, hinting at "a lot to think about." The flip watch is officially on, folks! #TyranEvans #FlipWatch

In the backfield, Jae Lamar from Moultrie, Georgia, made his third visit this year, and it looks like the pipeline is flowing strong. Lamar's comments were brief but powerful: "This visit changed things for me. A decision is coming soon." We're hearing whispers of a commitment date on the horizon. #JaeLamar #GeorgiaPipeline #CommitmentWatch

On defense, we're trying to snag Auburn commit JaMichael Garrett, a Top247 linebacker from Louisiana. Flipping an SEC commit is always a statement, and Garrett's reaction was telling. "Miami is high up on the list after this," he admitted, clearly considering a change of heart. And newly offered DB Kosci Barnes from North Carolina, who made an immediate official visit, stated, "I loved the energy, and I can see myself making an early impact here." That's what we call efficient recruiting! #KosciBarnes #FlipSZN #DBU

The battle with Clemson for safety Blake Stewart out of Atlanta continues, and after this visit, Stewart commented, "Miami's making it tough. The relationship with the coaches is top-notch." Top247 safety Cortez Redding from Georgia was also in, linking up with his committed teammate Jontavius Wyman. Redding emphasized the "package deal" aspect, saying, "Playing with Wyman is a big draw, and Miami showed us how we fit together." #BlakeStewart #CortezRedding #PackageDeal #SafetyU

And of course, our committed offensive linemen, Rhys Woodrow and JJ Sparks, were back on campus for their official visits, getting the full VIP treatment. Both expressed excitement about their future, with Woodrow stating, "Just solidifying what I already knew – this is where I'm meant to be." Sparks added, "The family atmosphere here is unmatched." #RhysWoodrow #JJSparks #OLineU #Committed
