    KJ, Meredith, and Elayna (Saving People, Queering Things) host a summit on a character entirely unique to this season, and that is Bela Talbot. After a brief interlude to talk about that one angel that doesn’t even go here yet, they get to business talking about Supernatural’s best business woman! Along with Bela’s storyline, they also cover the role female characters play on Supernatural and the precedence this set for future characters. Also Elayna defends her love for season three, and why it actually benefited from the 2007 WGA strike.
    Content note: This discussion episode is even more spoilery than necessary, the crew did not stay on mission, and first time watchers may wish to skip this episode. It is also not recommended to drink every time someone says “But, Bela” to get back on track, at risk of over intoxication.

    Sam and Dean are in a tricky situation and KJ, Meredith, Nick, and Moira are here to berate the writers (looking at you Sera Gamble) for their handling of Winchester FBI File Holder Victor Henriksen. Ruby’s back, Sam’s bad at communications, and it’s our first time meeting Lilith. Everyone’s weird about sexual experiences, and there’s a loud speaker!
    CW Episode Description: Sam and Dean break into Bela's apartment in order to get the Colt back, but she has tipped off Agent Henriksen(guest star Charles Malik Whitfield) about their whereabouts and they are arrested. While Sam and Dean are locked in a cell in Colorado, a demon breaks in and kills some of the sheriff's men and possesses Henriksen. After the guys vanquish the demon, the FBI agent realizes they were telling the truth and prepares to release them, but Ruby shows up to warn Sam and Dean that the jailhouse is surrounded by a band of demons with a powerful new leader who wants Sam dead.

    This podcast is back from the near-death caused by the WGA/SAG-AFTRA strike to talk about an episode of Supernatural where Dean just cannot stop dying. KJ, Meredith, Jenn, and Chi gathered to talk about Mystery Spot. We take a quick minute to talk about a writer who didn’t write this episode and wasn’t credited at all in any way with it. Then we have to make a tough decision about what this means for the Death Count segment. We also discuss in depth in-universe explanations for the suspicious lack of Florida content in Supernatural. KJ also campaigns hard for maple syrup as the ultimate breakfast condiment.
    CW Episode Description: Sam and Dean investigate the disappearance of a man who went missing at a tourist location. While searching the site, Dean is shot and killed by the owner. Sam is devastated but stunned when he wakes up the next morning to find Dean alive and well. As the day unfolds, Sam realizes he is re-living the previous day and tries to prevent Dean's death, but to no avail. Dean dies again and Sam must learn to live life without his brother by his side.

It’s the first look at Demon Dean, Bobby’s dead wife Karen, a truly cruel move by Sam to save the day, and Bela’s here to be the ultimate boss babe.
    CW Episode Description: Sam and Dean race to Bobby's (guest star Jim Beaver) side after he lapses into a coma and can't be awakened. While unconscious, Bobby battles his personal demons and the reason he became a hunter is revealed. Sam and Dean discover someone poisoned Bobby with a potion that will kill him if he doesn't wake soon. When the brothers decide to take the potion themselves to enter Bobby's dream in order to save him, they come face to face with their own personal nightmares.

    CW Episode Description: Sam and Dean travel to Sturbridge, Massachusetts, and discover a coven of witches that has killed two people. Ruby warns the brothers to stay away as the demon controlling these witches is very powerful and will surely kill them. Ignoring her plea, Sam and Dean go in after the coven and confront the head witch, who reveals Ruby's past.
