Our ability to do the hard things or the things we find boring really comes down to a few things. When we understand these 3 key things it’s not much we can’t do when deploy these strategies.

These are things we are already doing in one way or another the only difference is now we will be doing these things on purpose.

When we start something new, it’s very hard because we find out how bad we suck at it, and this is why the goal isn’t to become great.

The goal is simply to get 0.00001 better each day. Now think about that for a moment we’re talking about an improvement that we want be able to see day to day.

It’s kinda like losing weight, when your doing it you can’t see any changes or improvements. It’s not until we go back to the first day and look at where we started at that we get to see how far we have come.

It’s not about becoming great that will happen automatically, all we have to do is focus on getting 0.00001 better each day.

What do we do when we don’t know what to do or tell ourselves we will do it tomorrow?

If we can’t control that little voice that tries to get us to only do the fun things and blow off the things we find boring, then we will have a very hard time reaching our goals.
