  • Summary

  • I’m Jacqui Patton, Managing Director of Ink Blot Creative, a new, and very different, communications and marketing agency. My favourite things are finding what makes people tick and geeking out about how we communicate. On every episode I’ll be chatting to business leaders, creatives and everyone in between, about how they stay connected to their goals, relationships and sense of purpose in a world where we're always glued to our screens. I love to chat, so every week you can tune in for the next free episode. This podcast is all about creating connections, and we'd love for you to be a part of it! Head over to @ink_blot_creative on Instagram or @Ink Blot Creative Limited on LinkedIn to let us know what you think. And don't forget to stay connected.

  • #23 Chris Clifford: The art of observation
    Jul 7 2021

This week in the final episode of series 3, I’m talking to Chris Clifford an international Art Dealer and owner of Private & Public.

When I met Chris and found out about his amazingly colourful life and career I just knew he’d make a great guest. From selling furniture at London markets to selling works by Banksy and Warhol, you don’t want to miss this one!

We talk about the first time he saw something magical, courtesy of his Grandmother, what it was like to get back into a gallery for the first time after lockdown and why art and life are so intertwined.

You can find out more about Chris on Facebook, Instagram and on the Private & Public Website.

  • #22 Ryan Williams: Making a life not a living
    Jun 30 2021

This week I’m talking to Ryan Williams the Chairman of the Jersey Green Room Club, an amateur dramatics society that was founded in 1909.

Outside of his job in HR, Ryan devotes a lot of time to supporting various local charities. In this episode I find out how he became involved in the running of these charities at such a young age, where his love for the arts began and how as a self confessed workaholic, he’s finding time to rebalance his life post lockdown.

You can find out more about Ryan on LinkedIn, The Jersey Green Room Club on their website and Jersey Dips on Facebook.

  • #21 Lauren Treharne: Taking bad things and creating something good
    Jun 23 2021

This week I’m talking to Lauren Treharne, Owner of House by Betty, a lifestyle and stationery store in Camarthen.

Lauren started off with the world of fashion in her sights and after a few bumps in the road has created a business, and an online community to be proud of.

I found out about Lauren when an Instagram story of her singing in her shop made my day and I’ve been hooked ever since. We talked about building her business, overcoming an abusive relationship, her struggles with OCD and what life is really like when you’re trying to do it all.

You can find out more about Lauren and House by Betty on Instagram and Facebook.
