He rides into town on a Harley, saying he's from Scotland, with stories of international business, and inventions that will make him rich. It turns out, everything he says is a lie. When she disappears, the search is wide, including psychics, from all over. A huge surprise ending leaves everyone shaking their heads!!


    Along the way, we find out that a consignment shop is surprisingly easy to open, that just because someone says they're from Scotland, doesn't mean that they're not just a midwestern convict, and that sometimes, even a psychic can be right on the money!!

The culprit is caught, and put in prison, but he was so young when the crime was committed, one member of the victims' family wants to help him. She helps him secure parole, and even gives him a job, at the very place he murdered. Then, she's also murdered!! It's a crazy ride, with a wild ending!!


    Along the way, we find out that Arkansas loves hot wings, that some people actually do the forgiveness they talk about, and that some people might not be worth the benefit of your doubt!!

Multiple people are lured into this trap, to be coldly murdered, and left in shallow graves, behind an abandoned mall, and on an empty piece of land! Was his accomplice also a cold blooded killer, or was he also scared for his life?


    Along the way, we find out that Johnny Appleseed was real person, even though that wasn't his real name, that some things just sound too good to be true, and probably are, and that when your parents don't pay any attention to you, you may find other, more despicable role models!!

Not the same old murder cases

James researches and writes about the murder cases and Jimmy hears about the cases when we do so his reactions are real and express the shock and horror that the rest of us feel. James provides an overview of the town and sometimes the times since some of the murders are from the 1970s or 1980s. The best part of this podcast is these two cover cases that have not been done on every other true crime podcast and have only covered a handful of cases that I have heard on other podcasts. A side benefit of this podcast is James's books suggestions. I've listened to several of the books that he has suggested and I enjoyed all of them.

YAYYYYYY!!!

So glad I can finally review STM! Never did figure that out on Google podcasts. These guys are hilarious! The number of times I have cracked up and had to pull over while driving is just... innumerable. I die every time James says "it's just haw-rrible" in his NY accent. Jimmie is a sessy beast with a heart of gold. These guys make murder fun 😜

They threatened to kick me in the balls if I didn’t leave them a good review. They’re lucky I actually love the show. Listen to the podcast for stories you’ve probably never heard of and for the jokes.

The BEST True Crime Podcast

My absolute favorite true crime podcast. James & Jimmie together are lightning in a bottle. James' deep research, and ability to find the unknown stories,, surpasses all other podcasts. His storytelling abilities are topnotch. Jimmie is, well, Jimmie. These two friends knock it out of the park every week!

Love you guys so much!

These guys are great! Fun laughing at small towns (just like the one I live in) with stories that hook you and make you cringe at the same time. My husband and I have become fans - we listen every weekend after the kids go to bed. Carry on Jimmie and James! :)
