Let’s get right into it and talk about the the importance of networking. As you grind and work your way up, you will start finding yourself in those rooms with other talented individuals. You might start comparing yourselves to them or looking at them as competition rather than tapping into them as a resource. You never know if the person you are talking to could open up your mind to something else or be the source of a future opportunity. What is going on everyone? Your boy has been all over the country working different events. I just did a shoot at the US Open which was an amazing experience where I had a great full circle moment with one of my old mentors, Al Bello. It reminded me how important mentorship is in any field and how valuable it is to have someone to bounce questions off of and someone to strive to be like. I can’t even explain how my mentors have helped me and how pivotal they have been in my career. Also, when it comes to photography you need to realize the power you have behind the camera. You have the ability to change lives and create unforgettable moments.

Welcome back everybody! It’s been a busy couple weeks and I want to share my experience at the Met Gala. This is my third time at this event but this is the best one I have ever photographed. With exclusive access inside the Gala I got to be even more creative and shoot up close with the biggest names in the entertainment industry like Kendrick Lamar, Kim Kardashian and Cardi B. Walking into that star studded room made me truly appreciate all the sleepless nights and hard work that I’ve put in. On this episode I talk about my first time at Coachella. Shooting in the dessert was just a different experience all together. Prior preparation prevents poor performance and it is so important to look at the previous coverage of these events to understand how you can take it to the next level. Since the Oscars I have had a few different things going on. A couple red carpets and I was just in Orlando doing some work for the Disney Dreamers Academy. What a great experience and I love interacting with the Dreamers. I got to connect with a young man that reminded me of myself. Nothing more fulfilling than helping the youth. It’s so important to get your equipment right if you want to work in this field. Hear what I have used in the past and some pointers I have when it comes to camera equipment.

I’m in LA for this episode. Just wrapped up a weekend at the Oscars. What an experience. The Versace runway show was amazing. The stars were out and the setting was incredible. Did you see what people were wearing? Halle Berry, Rihanna, Lady Gaga… They all killed it. The photos from this red carpet are some of the best I have ever produced. Let me also talk about the shoot I did with Michael K Williams and what I learned from this experience. My goal was always to be a successful photographer but it’s crazy to see where photography has taken me.
