• 14: Samantha Jacob, Portrait and Wedding Photographer in Las Vegas
    Apr 21 2021

Very excited to have portrait and wedding photographer Samantha Jacobs on the podcast this week.

I had the pleasure of meeting Samantha during the NBA summer league in Las Vegas a couple of years ago and have been following her ever since.

It was amazing to pick Samantha's brain about her move from Kansas to Sin city as she wanted to grow her photography career.

This episode is packed with helpful hints and lots of inspiration for established and up-and-coming portraits and especially wedding photographers.

Very Excited to have Mathew Stucko on the Podcast as my guest this week.
"Stucko" as we called him is one of the most genuine people I ever had the pleasure of working with.
I was lucky to meet Stuck about 10 years ago when we both worked at Bleacher Report which at the time was an unknown sports site.

Stucko has come a long way since the BR days and we had a lot of fun talking about BR early days, growing pains, and the success that Mathew has worked so hard for.

  • 12: Reilly Balcom, Photographer and Videographer and creator of Another Visual Banger
    Apr 20 2021

Excited to have Dp and Editor Reilly Balcom who I consider the next generation of creators. I had the pleasure of working with Reilly when he edited an episode of a Jordan Clarkson series. It was obvious then how talented the young creator was and I was excited to see his skills grow. Two years later and Reilly continues to build his reel and talents as he started his company Another Visual Banger.

This episode is perfect for the creators just starting out and a good reminder of the optimistic creator spirit for some of the more seasoned/jaded professionals.

  • Bonus Content: Khary Mason is a retired Detroit Homicide detective who uses writing and photography to help heal and educate.
    Apr 14 2021

This was the beginning of my conversation with Khary Mason on Episode 07 but I did;t feel it was the best way to start our podcast and didn't feel right slapping at the end for fear most people wouldn't make it to the end of a 2+ hr podcast.

I'm glad I did because now I'm able to add it as Bonus Content.

The name of this writing by Khary is- When I no longer possess a piece of tin.

    More on Mr. Mason-
Khary Mason is a native Detroiter who has spent half of his life with the Detroit Police Department. He is currently working as a homicide detective. Initially, photography and writing were nothing more than elements of his job that were used to aid memory.  In the past decade, recognizing the power that comes along with words and images he took a more proactive approach by expanding his knowledge in both fields. In 2015 Khary attended the College for Creative Studies to further his interest in photography and started to write and perform spoken word. From 2015 -2019 Khary was the Co-lead of a photography project sponsored by the NJHIA at Princeton University.

Khary’s multidisciplinary Arts, and law enforcement background coupled with his early childhood experience allow him to advocate for children of marginalized populations through mentoring, art, and speaking engagements.

Khary also has a passion for the Culinary Arts.

  • 08: Tony Menias, medical graduate turned award-winning and published travel & street photographer.
    Mar 17 2021

In episode 08, I talk to Tony Menias, an award-winning published travel & street photographer who just happen to graduated from medical school.

His love for photography began when his father handed him his first camera when he was 10 years old and he hasn’t stopped snapping since.
He travels the world capturing the human condition in its beauty and essence. His objective is to inspire through visual storytelling to close the gap of time & space between his subject and their observer.

I had the pleasure of meeting Tony in Oaxaca, Mexico this past year while on assignment for a Netflicks shoot.

Tony and I share a similar story of discovering our passion for photography thanks to our fathers gifting us cameras at a very young age.
