Shipping Kids, from The Children's Crusade to Quondale Dingle

  • Summary

  • One of the worst myths about teaching in general, and homeschool specifically: "I can't teach it because I don't know it." This is literally the opposite of good teaching. This is called Sage on the Stage. It's actually better to learn together, or Guide on the Side.
This week, we tackle it head on with a recurring segment SOS, or Sage on the Stage. Chef talks (and talks and talks) about the Children's Crusade, a real thing that really happened. It's no wonder we kind of brushed that one under the rug.

We break our five year rule to talk about recent incidents in the restaurant. Pro tip: if you go into an Asian restaurant in the Year of Our Lord 2024, and ask about cats and dogs, you're suuuuuuper racist.
Rose busts out her crazily good Micheal Safi impression as Chef won't shut up about ChatGPT.

Finally, Rose is stunned by Chef's take on the Tik Tok Rizz Party. Chef shreds the Rorshach Test that is looking at that video, an analysis that is stunningly accurate, and only really possible thanks to surviving decades of private school interactions. Yep, even though he's a Homeschool teacher, Chef has spent a lot of time in a lot of different private schools.

Chef immediately derails our Tipout Segment overanalyzing carnival rides and dicks. Rose gets us back on track, and Chef drops a red hot song tip, one you absolutely must incorporate into your playlists. Seriously.

    Ep 4 releasing later today.
Ep 5 is taking extra editing, because even by Chef standards, he's dropping so many eff bombs, and is so hopped up about work, we may have to edit at least %50 of it. We'll release the uncut version for like Ep 250 or something. It's like Lewis Black, George Carlin, and Hunter S Thompson all had bad days and screamed at each other. It's pretty funny. . . . . . We'll see.

Much Love. Et merci a tous nos amis francais. Bien que je parle francais, ces downloads en France sont surprennants. Je vous aime tous!
