The Rams welcomed back receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua and took down the Minnesota Vikings, one of the best teams in the NFC, on Thursday night. The Kings won their home opener against the San Jose Sharks and followed with a win over the Utah Hockey Club.

We were at most of these rallies, including the one last week. We will give you the update. The Rams knocked off the visiting Las Vegas Raiders at SoFi Stadium and are back in the win column again. The Kings put together a pair of impressive wins on the road, but lost their starting goalie to injury and to the Golden Knights in Las Vegas in a blowout.

The Valencia High School football team won its third game in a row and improved to 3 and oh in the Foothill League. The Castaic High School football team won its first Foothill League game of the season surprising a surging West Ranch team. In MLB, the Dodgers shut out the San Diego Padres to win Game 5 of the National League Division Series and face the New York Mets in the National League Championship Series. In the NFL, the Rams were on a much needed bye and are awaiting updates on their two star wide receivers, Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, who have missed most of the season with injuries. In the NHL, the Kings started the season on a winning note against the Sabres in Buffalo. But lost a tight game against the Bruins in Boston in their second game of the season.
