Her team is responsible for coordinating administrative and operational duties and programs, ensuring unit and Wing members can focus on core tasks impacting overall mission readiness.

    SMSgt Koory enlisted in the Air Force in June 2001. She earned her space wings at Enlisted Space Prerequisite Training in Vandenberg AFB, CA. She has served in a variety of space positions including mission planning, missile warning and as a space Aggressor. During her 23 years in the Air Force, SMSgt Koory has actively sought opportunities to serve in a variety of positions outside of her 1C6 career field, including Technical Intelligence Collections, Logistics and as the Superintendent of the National Character and Leadership Symposium at the United States Air Force Academy. While currently serving as a 4A0, SMSgt Koory values all of the opportunities and continues to seek out new challenges. On the civilian side, SMSgt Koory is a Registered Nurse working in an Intensive Care Unit. She is married to her wonderful husband Nick and together they share the busy joy of raising 3 amazing children.
