  • Moulded by the Lord: Sanctification
    Nov 7 2024

Hey! Welcome to the first episode of season 2! Today we’re going to talk about sanctification and walking with Jesus and allowing the Holy Spirit to change you. Galatians 5 speaks of the fruit of the spirit which, without the Holy Spirit, we cannot bear. We need to be with the lord and trust him so that we may surrender to him. God wants to transform us here and now not just when we arrive to our eternal home. I hope you enjoy this episode and that the Lord may speak to you through it. I love you!🩷

  • Forgiveness of man obligates the forgiveness of neighbor
    Aug 20 2024

unForgiveness is something we all struggle with, no matter how big or small this monster always finds a way to torment us at least once in our lives. This is a especially a struggle when you're saved. Believing in Jesus Christ is knowing that our sins have been forgiven and we have been made clean and set apart. A forgiveness we do not deserve, a grace we did not earn. A forgiveness we must extend to others. Following Jesus Christ is knowing that vengeance is not ours. Though this is not easy, it is possible through the power given to us by the holy spirit. Lets talk about it... (part 1)

  • The way Jesus loves
    Jul 16 2024

I’m in an area in my life where I’m learning the patience of God. His love is characterized by so much but amongst those is his patience, his love is never ending and never failing. He sees through the work he has started in us. I have the privilege of experiencing his love in such a different and unique way, a way unlike the one I have known. God is Holy, he is unlike man. And so is everything he does. He loves, but not like us. In this season I have learnt what it truly means to be loved by God. Not through my own trauma but through the sacrifice of his one and only son. The cross is an image of Gods love for his children and his hate for sin.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”

    ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭4‬-‭5‬, ‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

  • Overcoming pride as an ordinary girl
    Jun 22 2024

Pride is the opposite of humility, making it hard for us to come to the Lord. Pride is a false sense sufficiency. Apart from the Lord we are nothing and we cannot do anything. Understanding that helps us see just how much we need Jesus. Prideful people don’t need the Lord less, they just don’t realize they need him.

Proverbs 11:2 “When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.”

  • A lesson on Prayer
    Jun 13 2024

Prayer is the most importance part of our walk with the Lord and so often we disregard it. It’s in that secret place of prayer that Godly characters are formed, wisdom is imparted, hearts are softened and desires are changed to fit God’s will. Jesus always went away to pray to the father in secret, in fact it is worth noting that before making his decisions he often went away and prayed to the father. It’s in that secret place that he surrendered to the will of the father in Matthew 26, the very Will that allows us to be called saved today. Prayer is our lifeline.

  • Trusting the Lord
    May 23 2024

Trusting the lord can be one of the hardest things to do. We've seen it time and time again in the bible... the Israelites in the desert and Peter on the sea. Its clear that trusting the Lord is a matter of faith, faith that's not only little but is short lived. For most of us trusting Jesus for what he has said can look like sinking when we were walking on water literally 2 seconds ago, but, how-ever little our faith may be, we can be sure that Jesus is holding our hand. His promises are true because he is the truth.
