Rider Waite Tarot Card Deck=======================I learned how to read cards on the Rider Waite Tarot Deck and the instructor I had said its easiest to have everyone on the same deck when explaining the symbolism. With time, I was able to transfer that knowledge to other decks. If you are a beginner at learning Taro, below are some links to the Rider Waite Tarot Deck to follow along if you need a set of cards. I took a two and a half day course, and I was so excited to be able to take the mystery out of getting readings done for myself, and to be able to do them myself. We also have social media channels, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and all major podcast distributors such as Spotify, Apple, Audible and many others under the handle @quickLearnQuests. I am focusing mostly on my podcasts and YouTube at the moment, but I will expand into more social media more consistently when I find my feet. I use the Rider Waite Tarot, but you can view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring The Empress, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed. The Empress Upright is the epitome of nurturing, abundance, creativity, and the maternal energy that encourages growth and prosperity. She embodies the power of nature, fertility, and a deep connection to oneself and the world. However, when The Empress appears reversed, this powerful energy can become blocked or imbalanced. It suggests a disconnection from self-care, creative flow, or an over-dependence on others for validation. So what does that mean when we see The Empress reversed in a reading? When The Empress Reversed appears in a reading, it's a reminder to pause and check how you care for yourself. Make sure you are nurturing your own needs and that you are not entirely focused on others. This card encourages you to reclaim your energy and remember that true nurturing begins with yourself. It may also indicate dependency on others for validation or fulfillment. If you're feeling lost or unsupported, The Empress Reversed suggests building confidence and autonomy, tapping into your inner strength to cultivate self-sufficiency. So, what is the best way to memorize The Empress in reverse?Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed Empress moment was apparent when I moved to a rural community from a large city. I didn't realize how little I focused on myself when I was in the city. I was in the small business community, so my time seemed to primarily go to my clients, marketing, and supporting others in the small business community. It was minimal if I think of how much time I took for myself. My husband was also a small business owner then, and most of my friends were also in that community. When I moved to Creston, all that activity stopped dead in its tracks. I found myself in a reversed Empress energy and also in a bit of an identity crisis followed by a health crisis. The lack of self-care for years was a shock to my system when I had nothing to focus on but myself and my household. I still had my work, but my time wasn't completely booked. In that silence, I needed to figure out who I was and what I wanted to do. As I began to connect more with my husband and my parents, I took better care of myself with a better diet, creative hobbies, and getting involved in local activities. That's all for today's episode of The Empress Reversed. Remember, to memorize tarot, keep practicing tarot. Thanks for listening. #TheHighPriestess #memorize #courtcards #learn #learning #Tarot #...
