One of the coldest white guys the NBA has ever seen, Larry Bird was a generation defining player alongside his longtime rival turned friend, Magic Johnson. The two of them were iconic nation-crossed enemies, who pushed the boundaries of what it meant to compete. Furthermore, Larry Bird was a 3-point savant before the introduction of the spacing era we currently enjoy. Larry could do it all and did it all as the leader of that dynastic Boston Celtics squad of the 80's. Today we take that leadership and raw shooting ability and add it to a modern squad that would not only help Larry continue his efficient scoring ways, but add to his overall playmaking ability. We're here to say, it absolutely will. With an insane amount of mysticism surrounding his athletic prowess and his playability in a faster spread out NBA, we think that Wilt will find more than a few ways to bring his dynamic scoring and defending to the modern NBA. We break down our thoughts on which players are locks, possible HOFers and likely not from this year's Team USA roster.

On the flip side, after breaking down a player that many felt was the GOAT for a long time in Kareem Abdul-Jabaar, this week we break down the winningest player in NBA History, Bill Russell. Mr. 11 Championships now enters a league where his defensive prowess and rebounding acumen will allow him to dominate the interior for any team. Who gets put on a modern day Bill Russell squad? We give our takes on this week's episode and drop the results for the Kareem Build-A-Team sim in 2K.

Another day into the offseason, another Build-A-Team. This week we build around ESPN's #3 All-Time Player, Kareem Abdul-Jabaar. How would the 2nd highest scoring player of All-Time handle today's fast paced NBA?? We think SWIMMINGLY. From his inside-out ability to his elite defense and athleticism, we're more than confident that he'd thrive alongside some of the NBA players we've put him together with.

Outside of this, Team USA has been showing exactly why they're the odds on favorites and dominated the competition thus far. Will they ultimately win Gold? We'll have to see!
