  • Revolutionizing Family Law: How One Man's Fight Changed Texas, "Time Taken, Time Taken Back Law"
    May 3 2024

Robert Garza, a father who fought against false allegations and spent 12 years battling in family court. Learn how Robert's journey led to the passing of the "Time Taken, Time Taken Back Law" in Texas, a groundbreaking law that ensures parents regain lost time with their children after false allegations. Discover the impact of this law on families and the legal system, and find out how Robert's advocacy is shaping the future of divorce nationwide. Don't miss this inspiring story of resilience and reform!

    Bill Details Texas SB 718:

    "Time Taken Time Back"

This law fixes a fundamental liberty and a parental right. It brings healing and allows the child-parent relationship bond to be rebuilt from the lost time that was taken only on precaution by the court.

    Bill Details HB 969:

This bill would give those resources back to those offices and unstop the courts system. This shifts the burden of proof. By this one change there would be no more waste of resources of the family courts, CPS, or the District Attornery office.

When the family court is taking a parental right away only on “precaution” and when they return the child and not the time that was lost. This is a human rights issue and an attack on Americans

    Civil Liberties

My bill stops the behavior before the false allegation is made. This bill rights the wrong that was done only on precaution.

  • nderstanding the Dark Side of Parental Alienation: Interview with Dr. Sharples on Abuse Findings
    Nov 30 2023

Join us for a thought-provoking interview with Dr. Amanda Sharples, Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Toronto, as she discusses groundbreaking research on parental alienation. In collaboration with Chris Batcheller from the National Parents Organization, Dr. Sharples co-authored a compelling paper titled "Findings of Abuse in Families Affected by Parental Alienation." 📑 Key Insights: The research reveals a crucial correlation: parents found to have alienated their children were more likely to have a substantiated claim of abuse against them than parents found to have been alienated, irrespective of gender. These findings shed light on the complex dynamics of family court cases involving parental alienation. 🔍 Deeper Analysis: The discussion delves into the implications of these findings, suggesting that alienating parents are more prone to legal and administrative aggression through false abuse allegations. Despite the awareness among judges and third-party experts, such as custody evaluators, action is not consistently taken to deter parents from making these accusations in family court. 🛡️ Protecting the Falsely Accused: The interview emphasizes the need for family courts to recognize false allegations as a form of legal and administrative aggression. Dr. Sharples advocates for appropriate actions to protect the falsely accused party and, most importantly, the children affected by these false claims. 🤝 Balancing Justice: While acknowledging that many claims of abuse may be valid but lack sufficient evidence, Dr. Sharples stresses the importance of setting a high threshold for determining false claims. This approach ensures that parents with genuine concerns and good intentions are not discouraged from coming forward. 👁️‍🗨️ Insightful Conversation: This interview serves as an eye-opening exploration into the intricate dynamics of parental alienation, offering insights that prompt us to rethink our approach to family court proceedings. 🔔 Don't miss out on this important discussion -- subscribe, like, and share to spread awareness! *🔗 References: (15 May 2023) Findings of Abuse in Families Affected by Parental Alienation by Amanda E.
