Things seem terrible for the Eagles after their ugly blowout loss in Tampa. Vic Fangio’s defense sucks against 21st century offenses. Jalen Hurts is the league’s most generous QB to opposing defenses. The vibes are abysmal. And yet, they are still 2-2 and they’ve been without A.J. Brown for three of those games. Zach Berman tries to talk some reason into a frenzied fan base while Bo Wulf tries to poke holes in his optimism. Should be fun!

Terrible defense against 11 personnel? Check. Jalen Huts turnovers? Check. Missed tackles, uncreative offense, dumb penalties, special teams miscues, etc. Checks across the board. The worst version of the Eagles showed up in Week 4 as Todd Bowles and the Bucs continued their ownership of Nick Sirianni’s Eagles. The bye arrives at a good time for the Eagles’ health, but bad for the narrative surrounding an uninspired team.
