One very important piece to movies, tv shows or even video games is MUSIC! And up until this year the Grammy's never had a video game music category even though some of the best music comes from video games! This year the Grammy's added a category for Best Score Soundtrack of a Video Game/Interactive Media! The very first time this award was handed out and it went to this wonderful human being, Stephanie Economou! She has been composing for over the last 14 years or so with projects such as films like "The Meg" "The Martian" and tv shows "Jupitar Legacy" from Netflix! Being a gamer herself she got the oppurtunity to score for a video game called "Assasin's Creed Valhalla: The Seige of Paris" and this was her intro into the gaming world! Her next project was "Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok" and this is what she won the grammy for! We talk about what it is like scoring for movies, tv and video games and what the differences are. We also talk about what it means that the Grammy's now have a category for video game music and why it is so important! It was a huge honor to sit down and talk to Stephanie about all of these things and also she passed the 10 Questions to Earn a One Up!
