  • Francisco Baptista is the founder and CEO of TeamSportz, an AI-powered tool that helps people get the kind of sports performance technology usually reserved for elite professionals.

    Francisco is originally from Angola and is a keen basketball player (hence the title of this episode). The sport enabled him to escape the harsh realities of his environment during the Angolan civil war.

    He moved from Angola, to Brazil, to Portugal, and then to the UK, where he learned the language and many other life lessons too.

    He shares his unique perspective on overcoming adversity, racism, and the challenges of starting a business - especially when faced with bias.

    His aim to is that by making AI affordable and accessible, it will have a positive impact on lives.
