  • Kylie & Kelly Clarkson on America’s Best Vocalist, A Christmas Album Offering & Birth Plans | Ep. 16
    Mar 27 2025
Kylie’s back for a brand new episode of Not Gonna Lie presented by Liquid Death and kicks the show off by finally announcing the winner of the NGL Fan Name poll (1:35)! Let’s just say Kylie is conflicted… After that, Kylie gets brutally honest about the phenomenon that is Birth Plans in this week’s edition of “Can I Be Honest?” She explains what they are, her very short personal birth plan and also calls out people in comment sections who have decided what does and does not qualify as giving birth (3:08). Then, Kylie is joined by yet another woman she has no business speaking to: the original American Idol, Grammy Award winning superstar Kelly Clarkson (11:48)! Kylie and Kelly get right into their Eagles-Cowboys rivalry, as Kylie claims Kelly is one of very few Dallas fans she’d ever agree to have on the show. Kelly also tells a story about bumping into Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley and the Eagles offensive line when they were in New York filming an episode of The Tonight Show (12:15). Kylie and Kelly get to talking about Jason’s Philly Special Christmas album, Jordan Mailata’s incredible voice and whether or not Kelly would be willing to cross enemy lines and join the next album (14:18). Kylie then throws it back to Kelly’s American Idol days where she shares what that experience was really like in the first season of the show, her success afterwards and if it’s true that America found their best vocalist on the first try (20:30). Kelly also gets into what it was like to join The Voice as a coach and help out singers who were in the same position she was when she first started out (31:45). Lastly, Kylie asks Kelly about the best piece of motherhood advice she’s ever received (36:59). Kelly and Kylie also bond over their kids not being happy when they leave for work and the realities that come with being a working mother (40:20). As always, these episodes are capped at 45 minutes so make sure you tune into More Sh*t Monday on the Not Gonna Lie YouTube channel for exclusive clips from Kylie’s longer conversation with Kelly Clarkson. . . . • Kylie & Michelle Obama on Prom at The White House, Destined Girl Dads & Roster Height Lies | Ep. 15
    Mar 20 2025
Kylie’s back for a brand new episode of Not Gonna Lie presented by Liquid Death and starts things off by reacting to the news of NGL winning its first-ever award for “Best Emerging Podcast” at the 2025 iHeartPodcast Awards (1:44). Then, Kylie gets into the realities of late pregnancy and the most popular at-home labor induction methods based on a TikTok she doomscrolled upon (2:45). Plus, it’s a doomscroll double feature because a photo of baby Kylie, all 12 lbs 1 oz of her, has resurfaced and Kylie shares her theory on second kids being built “sturdy” (5:35). After that, Kylie debuts a new segment tentatively called “Charity and Yap” until Queen Emma thinks of something better. Kylie shares that she and Jason have something very special up for auction at this year’s 2025 Night of Too Many Stars event benefiting the NEXT For Autism organization (8:45). Kylie’s then joined by the woman she claims she may have the “least business” talking to in the entire world, former First Lady, Michelle Obama (13:10). Kylie asks Mrs. Obama about her brand new podcast “IMO” that she hosts with her brother Craig Robinson and why they wanted to start the show together. Mrs. Obama and Kylie then get into the benefits of being a girl dad (19:52) and the realities of raising teenage daughters at The White House (21:20). Mrs. Obama talks about the importance of making sure her daughters were prepared for the world once they moved out and what it was like when they were doing regular teen things like learning to drive and going to parties. Kylie shares how much she appreciated Mrs. Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign and asks her about partnering with the NFL on it, the changes to school lunches that resulted from it and why that cause was initially so important to her (28:47). Lastly, since they’re both exactly 5’11”, Kylie asks Michelle Obama about her feelings on growing up as a tall girl and the two of them bond over guys lying about their heights in their dating years and now being proud to wear heels (36:40). Make sure to follow us @nglwithkylie to vote for the winner! After that, Kylie returns to her McDevitt roots for a very Irish edition of “Can I Be Honest?” Kylie talks about taking Irish dance lessons as a kid, whether or not she will have the girls learn and the prank Jason pulled on her last year where she wound up dancing in front of hundreds at a local bar (4:30). I felt Kylie was very relatable and like I could have jumped into the conversation at many points...my kids are in college, and she brought back some memories of when they were little...Loved, will follow!

Bad words

So relatable with the bad words. My kids are grown and have kids of their own. There were two words that they were never allowed to use one was stupid and one was shut up,and to this day I don't think either one of them use those words towards anyone. I also cussed in front of my children and they also knew that they were growing up words.I think the Kelce family connect with so many people is because they are everyday down to earth family. The good, the bad and the ugly. Keep up the great work.

love her honesty

I love how relatable she is, how honest she is, and most of all that she is the Eagle fan that she is. I also love her work with The Eagles Autism Foundation.

Bad words

Love it. I’ve always taught my kids that the word “stupid” is a bad word. My kids are grown adults now and they still know that’s a bad word. Love that Kylie teaches her girls the same. It’s such mean word!!! I’ve always been a never gonna sugar coat things kind of mom and seems like Kylie is too. I love it.
