    NBA IS BACK!

    In a 29-1 vote, the NBA’s owners have voted to resume the league’s regular season, which has been on hold since March due to COVID-19, on July 31, with playoff rounds beginning in August.

    The 22 teams participating are: Milwaukee Bucks, Toronto Raptors, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Indiana Pacers, Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets, Orlando Magic and Washington Wizards, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, Denver Nuggets, Utah Jazz, Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies, Portland Trail Blazers, New Orleans Pelicans, Sacramento Kings, San Antonio Spurs and Phoenix Suns.

    The restart would tentatively begin on July 31, the NBA stated, with the NBA Finals ending no later than October 12. The NBA Draft is scheduled to be held on October 15, and the 2020-21 season will begin on December 1, two months later than previous years.

     Jake Paul charged with misdemeanor trespassing after mall looting!

    Videos posted on social media showed the 23-year-old YouTube star at a Scottsdale, Ariz., mall that was being looted. Now he is being changed with misdemeanor trespassing.

    Also, Floyd Mayweather will pay for George Floyd's funeral services. Mayweather is being quiet about it but Leonard Ellerbe, the CEO of Mayweather Promotions, told ESPN

    "He'll probably get mad at me for saying that, but yes, [Mayweather] is definitely paying for the funeral.”

    A lot of other celebrities are coming together to support Black Lives Matter Movement and protestors.

    Kanye West has made a $2 million donation to support the families of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbrery and Breonna Taylor, a representative for West told CNN.

    US magazine reports that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds donated $200,000 to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, an organization that is focused on finding racial justice by making changes and eliminating disparities.

    Jack Dorsey, The Twitter CEO announced on June 3 that he had donated $3 million to Colin Kaepernick's Know Your Rights Camp "to advance the liberation and well-being of Black and Brown communities through education, self-empowerment, mass-mobilization to elevate the next generation of change leaders."

    Also: Drake, Chrissy Teigen, Seth Rogen, Steve Carell, The Weeknd, Don Cheadle, G-Eazy, Harry Styles, Kehlani and more are donating and supporting this movement, protestors and victims.
